The gay lobby goes into a rage whenever homosexuality and pedophilia are put side by side.
Morrissey, a British pop star of the Eighties with the Smiths, may be gay (he says he's "humasexual," implying he's bisexual). But he'd rather accuse everyone of eating meat of being just like a pedophile. MusicFeeds.com reported it came during during a recent Q&A on Morrissey fan site called True To You:
“I see no difference between eating animals and pedophilia. They are both rape, violence, murder,” declared the singer when asked “What is it that prompted you to stop eating meat?” The Meat Is Murder-singer continued, saying, “If I’m introduced to anyone who eats beings, I walk away.”
“Imagine, for example, if you were in a nightclub and someone said to you 'Hello, I enjoy bloodshed, throat-slitting and the destruction of life,' well, I doubt if you’d want to exchange phone numbers,” he concluded, continuing his long-standing and vocal criticism of those dastardly flesh-eaters....
“I would like the Queen of England to be asked why she wears an electrocuted bear-cub on her head. I would like to ask all so-called celebrity chefs why they believe that animals should have no right to live...."
“If Jamie ‘Orrible [Oliver] is so certain that flesh-food is tasty then why doesn’t he stick one of his children in a microwave? It would taste the same as cooked lamb.”
This might underline why Morrissey's first solo album was titled "Viva Hate." Morrissey really is an intolerant hater of meat-eaters. In 2009, he abandoned a stage at the Coachella Festival in California because of the smell of cooking meat, stating "I can smell burning flesh and I hope to God it's human."
At a 2011 concert in Warsaw, Poland. Morrissey ranted that the Anders Breivik mass murder in Norway was nothing compared to fast-food chains: "We all live in a murderous world, as the events in Norway have shown, with 97 [sic] dead. Though that is nothing compared to what happens in McDonald's and Kentucky Fried Sh** every day."
Poor guy—someone needs to plug him into the wall and give him a few zaps. (Are they still doing electro shock therapy these days?)

Shut up and play (or sing) is good advice for entertainers. Nobody wants to hear tiresome rants from someone whose life experiences mostly amount to drugs and viewing the inside of hotel rooms.

Just another reason I have reformed my life and no longer listen to that garbage. You can feel what you like about rock and roll, but no more for me. I look back at the song by ole ugly Mick Jagger, something about Satan in the song, I forget the name. You could barely understand the words over his screaming voice, but the beat was good. Only later did I come to understand the words of the song and they had to do with Satan. As a Christian, I cannot listen to music that speaks of Satan, abortion, calling women whores, or ho’s, and such language. Each too his own, but no more for me.

Yeah, well, sodomy stinks. Eating meat is a LOT more natural, and logical than sodomy. Stick that thought between your ears and let it fester for a while.

Grains, carrots, beans etc are all living things. Morrissey makes his big moral claim based on eating the really low IQ stuff. What a fool.

Instead, he prefers to eat his vegetables while they are still alive. At least I have the decency to kill my food before I eat it.
