Good morning on this cold ( 18.5 degrees F ) and windy morning in Dixie.
The firewood is burning up as quick as match sticks.
We're going to a high of 27 F with high humidity, and tonight's low is suppose to be 10 F.
Try that with a wet blanket outside.

-15 with a windchill of -38 here.
I leave in 5 min. to go to a doctor appointment. :)
I probably won’t die from the cold.
Its winter, for Pete’s sake! Take precautions, but get on with business.

I know.

Good morning...it's only 15, here, with the wind chill. I'll send some warm your way ;-)
DD is here visiting, so I won't be able to watch. I appreciate your recaps/links, Yosemitest! Stay warm and comfy.

Snow is one thing that's rare in the deeop south.
But I can remember Plattsburg, NY; Philly, Penn; and South Korea; with all their snow and ice.

No need to shovel snow then.
Just let it blows away.

Ten inches of snow on Sunday the 5th.
The snow is beautiful! We have had a level 3 snow emergency for 2 days now.
Level 3 snow emergency means that If you are on the roads you can get a ticket for being on the road. Only police and emergency vehicles and snow plows are allowed on the roads.
It is extremely hazardous because the salt does not work on the snow in this cold, but makes it worse.
Schools, doctors and dentists, government offices are all closed and the city called to say garbage pickup would be delayed this week.
