President Obama, meanwhile, will carry the torch further on Jan. 28, when he’ll use his State of the Union address to echo a pre-Christmas speech in which he declared that income inequality and declining social mobility are “the defining challenge of our time.”

All the Republicans need to say:
“Why do we even need unemployment extension when we were promised EMPLOYMENT? Maybe our President doesn’t understand that.”

Game over.

The more we devolve into a socialist state the greater income inequality will become. Under communism and its vicious predecessor, socialism, one is either born very poor or very rich ... and unlike under capitalism, there's no way to become rich within the totalitarian state.

Hopefully Republicans will remember this, articulate the facts well, and will not be afraid to challenge any Democrat-Socialist who dares use "income inequality" to promote their idealistic totalitarian/statist objectives.

No doubt in my mind it’s a winning tactic.

"I wonder if anybody will notice that the democrats pushing this all make a lot of money?"

And....the strongest proponents of radical abortion techniques (and abortion in general) have already been born.

Now that he has ‘fixed’ health care he will ‘fix’ income equality!

I like it!

Obama knows how much you should make. And if you happen to get rich, Obama knows better than you what to do with your money. (Like pay for Obamacare~!)

MORE GOVERNMENT PLEASE!

They will vote for those who alleviate their fears... notwithstanding reality.

Definition of ‘Income Inequality’ = “its just not fair”

The unequal distribution of household or individual income across the various participants in an economy. Income inequality is often presented as the percentage of income to a percentage of population. For example, a statistic may indicate that 70% of a country’s income is controlled by 20% of that country’s residents.

It is often associated with the idea of income “fairness”. It is generally considered “unfair” if the rich have a disproportionally larger portion of a country’s income compared to their population.

Yes, in lock step with the new strategy of the Left, the Leftist fringe academic organizations have this week started sending out U.S. mail-delivered pseudo surveys filled with questions claiming disparities in income and how “unfair” that is and then asking for money to help them spread their politically-driven complaint du jour.

Yeah, so lets start with congressional and presidential pay.

All congressional pay should be reduced to 38K/year, no benefits, no pension. Of course 90% of them aren’t even worth the minimum wage.

Presidential pay should be capped at 50k/year, no benefits, no pension.

“Just part of class warfare he had been pushing for the last 5 years. If he can’t get the “rich” to voluntarily distribute the wealth, then he’ll start a war to take it from them.

Totally classic Marxism ..... a vanguard-led "war of liberation" from above.

That's why Karl Marx loved Lincoln.

Use of class envy is one of the dem's favorite political tactics.

That, and using racism and cries of "Uncle Tom!" and "Oreo!" and "Tan Man!" to inoculate ignorant inner-city blacks against any sort of political education. Especially education about what liberals and Fabians have been up to for 110 years.
