Much has been said about the Fukushima nuclear power-plant disaster, much of it true, some untrue.
The problem with the news coming out of the troubled complex is that the operating company TEPCO, the Japanese government and international agencies are not being completely forthcoming.
Some call it political spin, but others just say the world is being told lies.
The epitome of the falsehoods being told about Fukushima comes from no less than the Japanese prime minister himself.
At the final International Olympic Committee meeting in Buenos Aires, the one deciding who would host the 2020 Summer Olympics, Shinzo Abe assured the IOC the “situation is under control.”
Abe said there never was nor ever will be any damage to Tokyo as a result of the Fukushima disaster.
When pressed on the issue by Norwegian IOC Member Gerhard Heiberg, Abe doubled down and told the members, “It poses no problem whatsoever.”
Abe went on to say that the contamination was limited to a small area and had been “completely blocked.”
The prime minister also stated, “There are no health-related problems until now, nor will there be in the future, I make the statement to you in the most emphatic and unequivocal way.”
According to the IOC, Abe’s assurances were the deciding factor in giving the 2020 Summer Games to Toky rather than Madrid.
But just six days after Abe’s statement, Kazuhiko Yamashita, an executive officer of Tokyo Electric Power Co. (TEPCO) contradicted the prime minister by saying, “We regard the current situation as not being under control.”

What bothers me is that the American press could not care less what is happening, because it may end up making demands on His Highness, the Choom King.
Remember how Chernobyl was on the air all the time, front covers of magazines, talking head experts on television,and all the commentary from those in Europe?
How can this uncontained event not be a point of interest for the main stream media in the US or indeed worldwide?
The issue for me is that the Press would not cover the end of the world if it would burden Obama with some leadership obligation that he would not be able to fulfill or to blame someone else.
TEPCO and JAPAN have lied about Fukushima ever since it happened. Strange to see a world leader double down like this - his comments are provably false of course. I think it’s another sign of the abuse of executive office like the one we see here. The corrupt leaders are claiming the right to define reality. In Japan, they made new laws to arrest people who say things they don’t like about Fukushima or other state secrets. I believe the US is about to enact similar laws which are intended to silence the people and let the President and nuke industry partners simply define reality for the rest of us.

What really concerns me is that the EPA has been shutting off the radiation monitors in the US this week - there were 99 gamma radiation monitors a week ago, and tonight there were 79 active. And Fukushima Daiichi (number 1) radiation count is at over 140,000 CPM.

Fukushima will not be under control until it sinks to the molten center of the Earth.

The worse case scenario occurred in Fukushima. Three reactor melt outs that were vented the whole time they were melting out. And they continue to vent to this day.
Tokyo should have been under voluntary evacuation, but there was no place to put all those people.
Fukushima Prefecture has signed an agreement with their major state run hospital to keep secret any illnesses related to radiation.
Japan has put secrecy laws into affect that muzzles any dissent about Fukushima.
Can you connect those dots ?
Bottom line, we cannot evacuate the west coast of the US.
So everything listed above that occurred in Japan, will occur here once the Nuclear Oligarchy (read Military Industrial Complex) destroys the Tea Party opposition this year and elects their highness, Hillary The Great, to their throne.
Oh, and BTW, the Japanese own the US nuclear reactor companies. Those reactors that melted down in Fukushima, might as well been our reactors.
