Robert Jeffress Claims Obama's Policies Are Paving the Way for a Future World Dictator New Book
PR Newswire ^ | January 6, 2014

For the first time in history, a U.S. president has openly proposed altering one of God's fundamental laws. What does that mean for the future of America? Will there be biblical repercussions?

Dr. Robert Jeffress, senior pastor of the 11,000-member First Baptist Church of Dallas, Texas, has received more national media exposure than any other pastor in the past year. His newest book, Perfect Ending (Worthy Publishing, January 2014), focuses on understanding the often-confusing topic of Bible prophecy and explains how Christians can recognize prophetic events that may be taking place in our world—and America's government—today.

According to Jeffress, "Although President Obama is certainly not the Antichrist, his policies are paving the way for the Antichrist." Jeffress describes how our present political leaders are enacting laws and issuing court orders that offend or trespass against God's Law as shown in the Book of Daniel—such as the baker in Colorado who was ordered, against his religious convictions, to create a cake for a gay wedding or face punitive fines. "Even more alarming," says Jeffress, "is the American people are allowing these leaders to proceed relatively unopposed, parallel to what the Bible details will happen in the end times."

"How have Americans managed to elect leaders who seemingly persecute Christians via legislative action in the name of political correctness, usurp freedom of worship, and mandate a healthcare plan that supports abortion?" questions Jeffress, who postulates the answer lies in a nation of apathetic Christians.

As detailed in Perfect Ending, Americans are seeing prophecy unfold right before their eyes. And while there may be time to change the course of events, do Americans have the courage to stand their ground?

Dr. Robert Jeffress is an author and the senior pastor of the 11,000-member First Baptist Church of Dallas, Texas. He regularly appears on major mainstream media outlets such as Fox News, CNN, MSNBC, The O'Reilly Factor, Cavuto on Business, ABC's Good Morning America, and CBS's The Early Show. He also hosts the television and radio program Pathway to Victory, which teaches a daily sermon series airing on 764 radio stations and 1,200 television stations, and cable systems throughout the nation and in 28 countries around the world.

So much of what surrounds him is bizarre. The way he openly thrives on his followers adoration is also disturbing. When has he ever demonstrated any humility? At the very least, we as believers are to be aware of and expose the evil he brings. We are also to be aware of the devil's schemes according to scripture. (2 Cor. 2:11) I have heard some believers say we shouldn't be concerned about those things. But we are admonished in scripture over and over again to be on guard and aware of what is happening around us and to be discerning spiritually. (Eph 6)

What and who Obama really is will be played out in the coming weeks, months and years. Our job is to pray, witness and stay vigilant as Nehemiah's workers building the wall. We are to fear nobody except the living God. We are to be watchmen waiting for our Lord's return and doing His will. We are blessed to be living in such a time as this. May the Lord increase and we decrease.

I think just about every Christian of most eschatological views would agree 100% with your above statement.

That person at fivedoves needs remedial spelling help but nonetheless there are some good points in there.

I was at Pergamon many years ago and as with other ancient and famous sites in the Med, I purchased the local guide book. I've tossed many Fodors-type travel books over the years but hung on to those guide books. Even today, the detailed histories, descriptions, maps and diagrams that they contain are not readily searchable on the net.

Here's a good quote to add some information (bold is mine):

On the land of the ex-kingdom of Pergamon, the first Roman state (Provincia Asia) was established. Riots continued until the reign of Emporer Augustus, when finally peace and tranquility were achieved.

Augustus visted Pergamon in the years of 31 and 20 B.C. Encouraged by the warm feelings the emperor had towards them, the Pergamene asked him for permission to build one temple for the emperor and another one for Rome. The exact locations of the Temple of Augustus and the Temple of Dea Roma are not known.

Pergamon thus received the great honor of being a Neokoros (having the right to build an imperial temple). In the inscriptions written after Emperor Augustus gave his permission, the word Neokoros precedes the word Pergamon.

In 14 A.D. upon the death of Emperor Augustus, Tiberius became emperor. Pergamon, along with many of the other cities in Western Anatolia, was destroyed during earthquakes of 17 A.D. Tiberius helped these cities and relieved them of the burden of paying taxes.

Emperor Trajan also gave Pergamon permission to build an imperial temple in his honour, and the Pergamene built the Temple of Trajan on the most prominant section of the acropolis; the temple is being restored.

In the years of Emperor Hadrian (117-138), the city was reconstructed and regained its old vitality. The temple built for the Egyptian gods (known as the Red Courtyard) was constructed in this period. The Asklepion was modernized and it became the most famous hospital in the world.

The plague swept through Pergamon in 166 A.D. An inscription near the Temple of Zeus states: "Oh great Zeus, chase away the epidemic that is destroying our city of Asclepios."

Asclepieion

Considering that Obamacare is the forced penetration of body, mind, and spirit by beast.gov, perhaps "Satan's seat" is a reference to the Pergamon's famed Asclepieion. Nike was on/at the propylon of the Asclepeion [m-w: : an outer monumental gateway standing before a main gateway (as of a temple)]. Although the golden age of the asklepeion was during the reign of Hadrian,

"According to Pausanius, the earliest Temple of Asclepios in Pergamon was built in the 4th century B.C. Most of the remains seen today date back to the reign of Emperor Hadrian." (pg. 82)

I think Obama is the Anti Christ and I am not joking.

You can relax there are a number of reasons the Bible says he's not. First off, he's from the wrong part of the world, even originally! Also, he's too stupid politically. Anything the Anti Christ proposes will be welcomed and embraced almost right till the end of the earth. Including gun control, health care, etc. And he will enjoy the highest poll ratings in the history of the planet almost right to the end of this age. Obozo is a wannabe AC. He'd be really happy transferring USA to a Monarchy with guess who on the throne.

It looks like, he is the “precursor” to the AC.
