10,000 African migrants stage demonstration in Jerusalem

Knesset speaker nixes meeting between protest leaders and MKs; round them up and deport them, says ex-interior minister

Protests by African migrants in Israel, unprecedented in their scope, continued for a fourth straight day Wednesday as about 10,000 people, many of whom come by bus from Tel Aviv, gathered at the Rose Garden in Jerusalem across from the Knesset.

...

Knesset Speaker Yuli Edelstein bowed to pressure from within the Knesset and barred protest leaders from entering the building to attend a meeting with opposition MKs Dov Khenin (Hadash) and Michal Rozin (Meretz), who had invited organizers to discuss the issues at the Knesset. A statement from Edelstein’s office said he had decided to deny the protesters access ”against the backdrop of the tension and general public atmosphere, as well the fear that granting the infiltrators access will cause provocations in the parliament.”

...

Former interior minister MK Eli Yishai (Shas), meanwhile, said that the government should take advantage of the migrants’ mass protests to round them up and deport them.

“The State of Israel must act with unshakable motivation in the face of the danger of becoming a state of infiltrators, and there is no other solution than to to put every single one of the infiltrators in detention facilities, take their work permits, put them on airplanes and send them packing to their countries or a third country,” he said.

Africa’s a big place but there never seems to be an immigration problem anywhere on the continent.

Wow, someone with common sense and not infected with political correctness. When will more Western leaders wake up?

Hey come on, dey just be wantin what dey gets in merica.

The point is, this is what happens when you let into your country people with a lower standard of living and or work abilities. They are not raised up, they bring you down.

Here in the US, I think we see when the legal immigrants arrive, they are generally diligent in working hard. The problem happens with their offsprings who seem to have an entitlement feeling such that they are not going to follow the paths of their parents who were happy to escape some hell hole they came from because they don’t have to. Illegals take the easier path: I am here, take care of me.

Ha. I know plenty of these people, especially from African countries. Yes, they are hard working, but they are being compelled to send the fruits of their labor to their lazy, poor, tired old relatives back “home” — because, well, it is expected that they do so. The family members say, “You are rich now .. you live in America. “ America is rich. Send me money.”

And that’s what they do. Or, they spend everything they have bringing the family members here for us to take care of until they up and croak. It’s happening every day.

The Christians in Eritrea and Sudan are facing slaughter and have no choice whether to stay home or leave.

There is NO ANALOGY to illegal immigration here in America.

We’re having dinner tonight, with Eritrean refugees here in Denver.

This is a delayed Epiphany celebration.

Except South Africa and Rhodesia in the 20th century, back when there were jobs to be had.

You are dead wrong. These are Muslims NOT Christians. 70,000 of them. They are illegal alien grifters, rapists and thieves, not asylum seekers, many with prior criminal records, as the Israeli authorities are belatedly finding out after arresting them for crimes.

The pervasive poison of cheap labor is destroying western civilization in the U.S., Europe, and, apparently, Israel.

My guess is they are Muslims again.

It seems that no matter what is done to assist africa -it is never enough, never works or is squandered by thugs. Turn it into a giant game park and get rid of the people! It is a waste of time and money.

Westerners who have spent a lot of time in Africa have a phrase, "Africa wins again", regarding how plans inevitably seem to get screwed up.

This is a CIA PR operation to increase Obama’s leverage over Israel.

Placing a 3rd rate community organizer in charge of the CIA was the dunbest idea anyone ever had.

I have family in Tel Aviv, where there have been more than 40 makeshift mosques setup in decrepit buildings since last May for all the, ahem, "Catholics" who crossed into Israel illegally. Those wonderful "Catholics" who live 20 people to a room, steal every bike in the city, rape anyone going near an alleyway, run the stolen goods racket in bicycles, cell phones, handbags, jewelry, after less than 2 years. You have no f**king idea what you are talking about. Thse are NOT "refugees" but grifters, thieves, rapists and worse.

A "refugee" who commits ANY sort of crime should be subject to immediate deportation. If all else fails, toss him over the wall into Gaza.

Yes, toss him over the wall into Gaza, but first put a big tattoo on his back that says "Jesus saves" and one on his chest saying "Mohammed molests".
