The fools who RE-ELECTED “Barry” will pay the consequences.
I think Barney Frank is on record as saying this was a path to Single Payer.
“...Cloward-Piven...”
Beat me to it!
Make the suffering so intolerable, that the masses will clamor for ANY solution, no matter how bad.
little barry bastard boy said it to an audience of like minded socialists, and it is recorded for posterity. But lying and denying is the new reality in the democrips’ American.
This is what these liars do. Reminds of of Ann Richards promising that the Texas Lotto would go to Education if approved. They lie to get what they want knowing they will not be held accountable.
Obama announced this as his intention way before he was elected. No surprise at all.
Well...duh.
When Medicaid is about the only comprehensive plan you can sign up for and not have to pay a premium, for most people, single payer is already a reality.
And Obamacare seeks to make Medicaid enrollment as easy as possible.
Nuh-uh. You meant the Pennsylvania lottery DOESN’T benefit it’s citizens??
“Make the suffering so intolerable, that the masses will clamor for ANY solution, no matter how bad.”
Apparently, the Dems assume that they’ll be the party in control when the situation becomes “intolerable.” I have not doubt that the chaos is intentionally inflicted, but I have to wonder whether or not the public will allow the Dems to apply a solution when their attempt at rolling out Obamacare has come off as nothing short of painfully inept.
But will people fall for “from bad to worse”?
They’ve done it before.
To the security/development points: I have worked with more than a handful of IT companies who manufacture appliances and develop programs for IT security and other corporate solutions. More often than not, these companies are run by sales people pushing their products with little development support for the products.
A good example goes like this: a company develops a software solution for the market. Sales people go out to IT shops across the country to sell the product to corporations that supposedly need the solution. More often than not, the products are “turnkey” and supposedly fit right into existing solutions regardless of the level of customization to those environments. The customer buys the appliances or stands up servers to support the software solution, a technical lead comes in to assist with the initial setup, the company gets their gold in the form of support contracts, and they leave the corporation to their devices.
As soon as something goes wrong with the solution or a vulnerability is found in the product, the buyer contacts the solutions provider, and the solutions provider hands off the buyer to a third-party to assist. The original solutions provider is non compos mentis, they’re involved solely in sales. In most cases, the developers of the original product have left to work for the third-party companies OR they’ve started their own to make a pretty penny bilking the originator of the product, for whom they used to work, and/or the buyer of the product if/when the support contract runs out.
The healthcare.gov website was likely setup by some government lackey’s brother’s college buddy’s girlfriend’s maid-of-honor’s husband’s cousin’s roommate. This guy was likely some marketing or business major who knew a bunch of computer science students and paid them to make a pretty webpage. These developers had no practical market knowledge, and once they delivered the final product, they spun off into their own companies to provide “support” for what we’re now expected to use. This is what we in the industry call “stove piping.” They take a core product and spin off a bunch of product solutions to “fix” the core product but wind up creating bigger holes and issues in the end.
The only way to “fix” this is to scrap it and build something from scratch with the properly baked-in fixes, but that’s never going to happen, and we all know it.
Other strong indications are that the backlash against this is strong enough to result in civil war and that citizens who are not even politically aware in a general sense will reluctantly kill family members to restore access to doctors if it takes that.
Has anybody ever, EVER, demonstrated that medical coverage is in any way improved by administration through a single-payer scheme?
“Coverage” is provided, all right. Just as in the instance where a thug has his victim cornered in an alley and tells him, “I gotcha covered, don’t move!”
Couldn’t say that was any kind of improvement for the victim.
Single Payer IS the goal of this horrendous piece of tripe that is 0bama-don’t-care. Of that there can be no doubt.
That’s the next natural step in the progressive path to socialism.
Resist. At all costs, resist.
I’m not sure how you can go from the fedgov screwing it up so badly that it won’t and can’t work to
they should be even more in charge of the whole system.
Looks like some of Holders people are happy navigators (HPN).....
HPN....OK whitey....lets check your voter registrations ....
