Christie’s Waterloo
NY Daily News ^ | 1/8/13 | NY Daily News Editorial Board

In the best possible light, New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie built a top staff of lying thugs who threatened lives and safety to serve his political ends. If not, Christie is a lying thug himself.

Emails and text messages among his close aides made public Wednesday documented that in September they gleefully engineered George Washington Bridge lane closures to punish the Democratic mayor of Fort Lee for failing to endorse their boss’ reelection.

Local officials say the gridlock they caused delayed ambulances in responding to four calls, including one involving an unconscious 91-year-old woman who later died.

So, which Northeast liberal politician do the media push as the savior of the Republican Party now?

And Reince Priebus and Karl Rove cut off campaign funds to Ken Cuccinelli in the last days of his race and diverted those dollars to Christie and his band of thugs and cronies.

I am absolutely no fan of Chris Christie, but I do wonder that after Fast and Furious, Solyndra, IRS, NSA, Obamacide lies, Benghazi and God knows how many other scandals, why have we not seen an article entitled “Obama’s Waterloo?”

I know, I know ...

If the GOP passes amnesty, you will be about the only GOP voter at the polls, because the rest of us will either be sitting out or looking for another party to join.

Christie, it doesn’t look good from here but I hope you stay on for the sake of Conservatives. You are a great advertisement for why one should not vote for a RINO/ RAT. Your Democrat opponents will never let go of this. There will be plenty of Democrat long knives in your back when you go through the door if you decide to quit (you know the buddies). People like you will never learn but you have a nice photo album to enjoy. Well maybe not.

Too many people stayed home in 2012 The GOPe thought they could get away - once again - with shoving another DemocRAT-lite candidate down our throats, and we are suffering terribly because of it.

There, fixed your sentence for you.

Pssst! Bet ya the GOPe haven't learned their lesson either; they'll try to do it AGAIN in 2016! Open wide, here comes Jeb!

Daily News is a Lib Rag. Note the blaring announcements on Drudge from all the left wing media about their dear friend and chubby-buddy.

Christie is a typical Big-Gov DEMOCRAT. Corrupt and self-centered to the core.
WE knew this before he ran, the lost souls of the NJ GOP are finally clearing the stardust from their eyes.

The crazies in the E-GOP will still hoist this elephant onto our backs if we don’t fight.
Or even worse; that former FL gov Mistuh Jebbie.

Obama’s Waterloo (again)......

Report confirms government effort to alter coal job loss estimates(Obama fired company for refusing)

Washington Times ^ | Monday, December 30, 2013 | Phillip Swarts
Posted on January 8, 2014 at 8:14:20 PM CST by Red Steel

The Obama administration tried to edit a report on new coal regulations to lower analysts’ estimates of serious job losses, an official investigation has found, backing up reports that the Interior Department pressured a private contractor to change information in order to make the data more acceptable.

The Associated Press and Fox News reported in 2011 that a company claimed the Office of Surface Mining Reclamation and Enforcement asked it to change variables in a calculation that showed new environmental regulations would lead to large job losses.

The company and its subcontractors initially estimated that 7,000 jobs could be lost and coal production would be affected negatively by the rules. OSM asked for another calculation with different variables, and Polu Kai Services refused. The company’s contract with the government was terminated shortly after the story was leaked to the press, causing watchdogs to cry foul. ...

Inspector general investigators, however, stopped short of saying the agency was directly pressuring the contractor or was attempting to fudge the numbers. ...

Sen. John Barrasso, Wyoming Republican; Sen. Joe Manchin III, West Virginia Democrat; and Sen. Rand Paul, Kentucky Republican, released a statement at the time saying the Interior Department “cannot discard the economic analysis because it does not like the results.”

I’m no authority on things Jersey or Governor Christie for that matter. I will say this. Christie could draw a bucket of water to throw on a fire trying to save 25,000 kid’s lives, and the Leftist media would play it up that he was stealing the water from two old ladies who later died. (Six months later it would be revealed the two old ladies were living in Florida on a mysterious fund that appeared out of nowhere)

Christie is not one of us. We know that. We also know that 2016 is coming, and the Democrats are terrified that this “CONSERVATIVE” will beat Hillary at the polls. And yes, compared to Hillary, he probably is more Conservative.

That’s about like saying a box of donuts is better for you than mainlining a quart of lard produced from Marxist pigs.

The Democrats are in trouble when it comes to 2016. They know it. Everyone else does too.

I wouldn’t go all-in on this story. It’s just too convenient for the Left right now, which means it’s probably about 99.66% warm air from the nether regions.

Jeb says he won’t run if he has to debate conservatives in the primaries. So Rove and Priebus are trying to fix things with the debates. But this Christie debacle has messed up their plans to protect Jeb from conservatives in the debates..
