When I was a kid, and we didn't like someone, we "offered them out", gathered outside of the school, and someone was beaten .... and it was all forgotten after that. Whatever the beef was, disappeared.

CAR is actually C.A.R. as in Central African Republic, a former French Colony located in the western interior of Africa surrounded by Chad, Sudan, the two Congos and Cameroon. The Islamic population (15%) are mainly nomadic herders who are in constant land fights with more settled farmers who are predominantly Christian (50%) and non-specific indigenous (30%). However current government is Islamic-dominant. So, unsurprisingly, a minority Islamic group is using terrorism as a vehicle to power. Gee, who’d a thunk it?
