preppers’ PING!!
I was going to ping you to this thread as soon as I got off the phone to the drug store to get a script refilled. I stayed on “Hold” for 15 minutes. I suppose there are so many sick people right now, getting the drug dept. to answer takes a long time.
At any rate, water can stop functioning from the utility company for any number of reasons. After Ike, one of the water plants in my town shut down due to the machinery room flooding from the water Ike brought down. I’m sorry most people do not keep water stored all the time. Here, when a hurricane is coming through, people rush to the store to buy all the bottled water there until there is no more. If my water goes off at any time for any reason, I will still have plenty of good water and using my camp showers I fill with water, I have running water at the kitchen sink, at both bathroom sinks and in the shower. I have running water when there is no running water.
On a more practical note, my rain barrel is frozen! I managed to get 3 gallons out of a 65 gallon tank. Ideas to prevent?
