Republican Texas Rep. Steve Stockman’s war on the mainstream element of his own party is now being met with return fire.
Stockman is running an underdog campaign in the 2014 Texas Senate primary against GOP incumbent Sen. John Cornyn. His sharp attacks on Cornyn have been indicative of the growing schism between the tea party wing of the party and what Stockman calls the GOP “establishment.”

Speaking as a Texan born, raised, reside currently Stockman is a waste of time seriously. Stovall is who I will vote for in primaries. Stockman sounds like an idiot, sorry

Primarying RINOs will be key in 14. It is a waste of conservative votes to vote for any RINO
They are attacking him because he is the only one with name recognition he is no threat. It will be one that comes out of the blue like a Dwayne Stovall.
The biggest thing Stockman has going for him is that he refused to vote for Boehner as Speaker and has called for Obama’s impeachment.
In Texas, having the establishment GOP against you does not hurt; it helps. Stockman is an aggressive campaigner who gets in the news. On the other hand, I have not seen even one article about Stovall.

With the number of candidates, Cornyn will not get a majority of the votes in the primary. The second place person will beat him in the runoff.

* The dreaded voter affliction of “RINO Inertia.”
* Many Low information voters.
* No fire-in-the-belly opponents to Cornyn.

Stockman needs money. Let’s give him every kind of help we can.

That didn’t work out so well with the other liberal RINO Senator, Kay Bailey Hutchison.
Stockman seems to lean Conservative. I don’t care if it’s him or another Conservative, but Cornyn needs to be kicked to the curb.
At this point I agree with you.
Have no use for Cornyn, there are warning flags waving about Stockman.
If Cornyn gets past the Primary, which I doubt, he will be re elected.
Stovall is a genuine conservative and has a clean record. He has little public recognition. That is an advantage as far as I am concerned, but I am not the average voter.
That said, I despise the RNC gamers. They hate the conservative grass roots. But they will have to deal with us.
