You’re on the wrong site.

Do you really want to treat SS the same as welfare?

I don’t see much difference myself to tell you the truth. One’s means tested, the other isn’t.

“You’re on the wrong site.”

No I am not. The country club establishment Republicans need to pay for what they are doing and the best way is to make them pay for it.

How bad can it get? The Chamber of Commerce has lost its mind. It sounds like it prefers a dictatorship to run America. What in the world is going on?

What in the world is going on?

This says that everything you believed about the republican party from the 80's to about 2004 (the Bush amnesty push) is no longer true.

They either stopped being who we thought they were, or they never were who we thought they were.

I think it’s about time go give up on this country. It’s a cesspool of welfare addicts and fascist corporations that seek an ever expanding tyrannical government. Not to mention the 50+million babies aborted.
God’s judgement will be terrible.

It reminds me of a cartoon I saw once.

It had a five star general slamming his fist on his desk saying:

“The only way to save the planet is though all out full scale nuclear war!”

Where do you think the money in the social security trust fund went to. Welfare. The democrats want to own the entire united states and assign you a place to live, a job to perform, a minimum level of medical care, and a small pittance to buy necessities. Medicaid is not free, your estate and children have to pay for the amount of money you used out of it while you were alive. They are trying to change medicare to the same setup. The death tax will take everything you have built up to leave your children and the lawyers will take what’s left.

Hi Sgt. You need to read amnesty a little closer. I think a little sarcasm was being used.

What was said was, “Since they’re just using their corporate position to roll in taxpayer dollars and use taxpayer dollars for their own benefit”, then they might as well get more highly taxed so at least they’re spending some of their own money.

When you are in a hole, it is best to stop digging.

If taxes are raised on the corporations that make up the Chamber, who do you think funds their payments of those taxes?

Your emphasis on the taxation side of the equation is curious. Why no emphasis on the spending side - which is where the vast bulk of our problem exists?

Illegal aliens are supposedly “doing the jobs that Americans won’t do.”

Well if we legalize these people and make them Americans, then who is going to do those jobs?

The fact of the matter is that most illegal aliens are doing jobs that Americans would love to do, but the illegal aliens are just willing to do them under the table, with no liability for taxes, workers comp insurance, payroll taxes... and to top it off in addition to getting paid under the table the children of these illegal aliens are getting food stamps and welfare benefits because their parents are allegedly not earning a living.

The only thing that amnesty will do is to guarantee that another 12 million of these scofflaws will “immigrate” here illegally in the next decade.

The idea of granting these people amnesty is national suicide.

Agree. Western civilization itself may not see the end of this century. The Left and Islam are ascendant, and the world’s beacon of freedom is too frightened to even identify them as the enemy.

That seems certain and especially if total control of borders, coasts, and visas is not first enacted as so many have pointed out.

And since total control will NOT be enacted, one has to wonder what the end game is.

I'm leaning more and more to a serfdom called "The United American Nations" (US, Canada, Mexico, all the way down to Panama eventually) as their objective.

“If taxes are raised on the corporations that make up the Chamber, who do you think funds their payments of those taxes?”

Who pays the taxes? They do! That is why they fight taxes like hell. Do you think they are actually doing it just to help us middle class people? Why are they moving out of high tax states? Just because they don't want to pass their taxes onto us?

“Your emphasis on the taxation side of the equation is curious. Why no emphasis on the spending side - which is where the vast bulk of our problem exists? “

Of course spending is the problem. But it becomes more of a problem when the people who run the country don't have to pay high taxes. The more we lower them on wealthy individuals then the more they spend. Don't tell me you don't see a correlation. The more we have lowered taxes on the rich and on the corporations the more they become Democrats and the more feckless, duplicitous and treacherous the remaining Republican establishment country clubbers becomes. Again, the more government becomes a source of income and the less it becomes an oppressive tax burden the more we get stabbed in the back.

If there is or was any sort of doubt as to where this is coming from, there should not be now.
