[ My guess is that Cruz will be the next to battle Arkancide. He is/will be too much of a threat to cankels. ]

The DNC would rather have Krispy Kreme vs. Hillary rather than having to face Cruz.

They have Krispy RIGHT WHERE they want him, they can force him to run for pres and then holding the sword of Damocles over him and then having a October Surprise all ready.

Krispy Kreme is so desirable for the left as he has a built in October Surprise...

Look for Krispy’s current “scandal” to start fading now that it has proved a nice distraction for other things... They will start building Krispy back up in a few months...

Funny how a long term investigation on him by Obama’s donor will not probably release it’s conclusion until October 2016....

Where’s Cruz been for the last 5 years?Everyone here knew about Obama years ago.

Cruz is new (relatively speaking) to the Senate; from Wiki:

Cruz was the Republican nominee for the Senate seat which was vacated by fellow Republican Kay Bailey Hutchison.[6] On July 31, 2012, he defeated Lieutenant Governor David Dewhurst in the Republican primary runoff, 57–43.[7] Cruz defeated the Democrat, former state Representative Paul Sadler, in the general election held on November 6, 2012; he prevailed with 56–41 over Sadler.
So that means that its more likely that he wouldn't have gotten national press for something he said in years prior.

Cruz 2016 my choice

Ted Cruz should be the first and only choice for ALL true conservatives in 2016.

Maybe that’s why they’re eager to kill off the aged baby boomers.

I agree, as of right now. Palin’s entry could change my mind. A Cruz/Palin ticket would be awesome.

You know, I kinda don't want Palin on-ticket — some of her supporters are too close to a "cult of personality" for my taste (and cult of personality is one reason I disliked Obama from the outset).

“...The leftists of the 60s fought against what is now considered routine behavior from the POTUS...”

The only reason they fought was because it wasn’t “THEIR” guy in there.

If we had this clown’s equivalent in there back then, they’d have been just as compliant and fully backing him up.

They were commies then, too; they just weren’t as open about it, and the Democrat party back then wasn’t AS completely infiltrated as it is now.

This is the wet dream they’ve been having for close to hundred years right now.

Having grown up in the 60s (Madison, Wisconsin) I can tell you why they are good with what Obama is doing. They are him and vice versa. They HATE America and everything that it stands for. They are so blinded by ideology that they fail to see that everything that they have in terms of freedom, liberty and benefits (of being an American) is at risk by Obama and his agenda.

These are people that have no “investment” in America. They didn’t serve in the military or made any sort of personal sacrifice to earn or deserve the country that they grew up in and it shows. For the large part, they were brought up with the idea that they were entitled to everything and anything that their heart desired and they weren’t expected or required to actually go out and earn it. Somebody else would do the heavy lifting and dirty work on their behalf.

You should get it if you’ve been paying attention. It’s all about power. And right now the power is in the hands of criminals.

Just yesterday was an excellent piece comparing Chappaquiddick and Benghazi.

Conservatives and consumers of conservatism such as you and I should want leaders who can set traps for the criminals rather than expect the criminals to play to the same ethical, legal and moral standards that we expect of conservatives.

Timing is everything. Everyone HERE knew what Obama was but not out there. We have reached a tipping point where enough of the ignorant, low information voters are finding out they have been lied to and screwed upon. Had he said it earlier he would have been dismissed.

They haven’t been personally screwed by Hillary yet, so we still have that barrier to cross.

Letting Obama have almost dictatorial power is like letting an idiot child play with hand grenades.

I think that she would bring much support from the Evangelical crowd- but she probably will still have high negatives, from all the past slanders and libels.

You do know that Cruz was only elected to the US Senate in November 2012 and took office in January 2013, don’t you?

And that was after, as an underdog, he defeated the GOP establishment RINO candidate for nomination before going on to defeat the Democrat candidate in a landslide.

I completely agree with Cruz. But the real takeaway from his statements is that he believes the national contempt for Obama has reached a point whre it is politically expedient to say it out loud.

This is very good news.

I don't know what Cruz would get by picking Palin for VP. Would that energize the base appreciably more than "just" Cruz with some other candidate.

Personally I like Cruz-Martinez, just so that, when speaking with liberals, I could say the ticket with the thickest, most affected, Spanish accent imaginable, trilling the R's, triple-U sound in Cruz, etc.

You have my agreement.

Now, if CRUZ would just shut up and run for president. Pretty tired of only the rhetorical warfare, I am so ready to throw rocks and punches instead of endless words and red meat bait for the base.

Put this word-bait crap into policy and run a campaign on it! If he doesn’t, I believe Rand Paul will, as you indicate. So much Rand says, he puts into action; for example, his Detroit recovery solutions.

Warchests are being amassed now for Hillary and for Christie type Republican candidates, and our guys are still stuck in amassing thoughts and rhetoric.

Obama is undermining the legal, ethical
and moral foundation of the country.

Starboard.

And the Repubs are empowered over his hubris.
