The store sucks so bad people will rent a gun to end their misery.
But seriously this place sells a lot of guns but don’t you dare try and get help after the purchase.

But seriously this place sells a lot of guns but don't you dare try and get help after the purchase.I have bought several guns at Shoot Straight at I-4 @ 301, never had a problem...before or after...purchase
I will say they are a bit expensive compared to the several other guns shops within 15 miles of them...especially ammo

Probably per order of their insurance carrier. We went once to Smith & Wesson's public range (indoors) which is located right near their factory. It's amazing (to me,at least) how strictly they enforce their numerous safety regulations. While there we saw a shooter ejected for having violated one of the rules. You can't be too careful I guess.

I had trouble with a brand new rifle I purchased there. It wouldn’t seat cartridges and some standard magpul magazines wouldn’t seat.
I went back and the sales guys couldn’t help. The gun smith did his absolute best to be a complete ass. I complained and they were ‘oh well’. Never got the problem fixed there.
I purchased several guns from them but will never set foot in their store(s) again.

Sorry, the rifle wouldn’t chamber, not seat.

Ran a pistol instructor’s class in Orlando some years ago; used their range for the prequals and the student teaching. They were expensive, but treated us OK. Just OK.
After selling the range time, on the day we showed up they scared the hell out of us - “we’re pretty busy; don’t know if we can fit you in.” After some whining, they relented.
Can’t screw up the local gun store troll coffee and donuts, war store spinning “instructor”, don’t ya know.

Self Medication under bo-care.
Gunshop owner could apply to ACA for re-imbursment.

Jeez, at least buy the gun - but then pay with a check.

I’ve dropped about $20K over the years at the Apopka store and have done fine. Only problem I had was with a Kahr PM40 that liked to stovepipe and feeding issues. They suggested I give it to them and let them send it back to Kahr to get fixed.
My experience with their customer service was great! Though when I got the Kahr back I didn’t even bother with it. Just put it up for sale.

My county runs a pistol range and they have had two people rent guns and then off themselves in the lobby behind the firing line. I wish they would stop renting guns, as well. The problem with public ranges is just that, the public.

Weird. Don’t the manufacturers warranty against that kind of failure of new weapons?

The manufacturer steered me back to this place. It was a core15 are. About the only gun I’ve ever purchased that I regret.
