They won’t get another penny from me.

Understood. I'm that way too with stores that screw me over.

Well, a revolting development. I hope you alerted them that this vendor of theirs was giving you the bum’s rush and that you suggest they be advised to improve their service or else be passed over as a vendor. That might improve things for a whole lot of people.

Sometimes that’s the only thing that can be done.

I’d still try to get the product manufacturer involved, first. Just because you are a fan of guns does not mean you need to answer every problem by shooting the one with the problem down, so to speak.

Tried, Core15, had never heard of it but got it about a year ago with the rush on AR15s. The shootstraight store recommended it so I bought the rifle.

Called and emailed the company, again Core15, with zero response.

Which is why I’m talking about it here.

The background is helpful. This may bespeak trouble with Core15, and just speculating, and I would not know for sure so don’t treat it like it is sure, the dealer might have been snotty because they were thinking “oh woe, here’s another one of those bum guns and they want us to be their hero for them.”

Which really isn’t a helpful attitude on the dealer’s part, but it could be understandable. The dealer might hate Core15 too, but have some kind of contract to have to sell their stuff until a certain date, or an inventory they want to get their investment back on. And if they badmouth Core15 to their customers, now Core15 is on their back... no win from their point of view.

I’d say see if you can speak with the manager and find out if that’s the case with Core15 guns. The fact that a new gun would not properly seat the ammo, or whatever a gun is expected to do in operation, is awful suspicious to me. That’s shoddy. Guns are supposed to shoot and because shooting well is a safety issue in more ways than one, it seems a production problem to me.

The chambering issue was an easy fix. That it won’t seat some magpul magazines speaks to a production issue. The magazines won’t latch and fall out.

Like I said, its the only gun I regret having purchased. That shootstraight wont stand behind their recommendations speaks to the store.

FWIW they’ve had a number of accidental shootings at their indoor ranges. Besides these gun rental suicides. Possibly because they don’t supervise very well and the lanes are really narrow but thats just speculation on my part.

Nothing worse than a trip to a gun store where the people treat you like crap unless it looks like you have a load of cash to spend.
There is a big gun store near Washington PA.....they are the rudest, snobby and boorish people. Whenever asked to where buy a gun, I steer them away from them.
Then there is a place Called Bravermans in Wilkinbug outside of Pittsburgh. The nicest people I ever dealt with. They always get my nod whenever someone needs a pistol.
