Sen. Ricardo Lara, D-Bell Gardens, said if the goal of the federal health care law is to provide coverage to the uninsured, then immigration status should be irrelevant.

Sounds like a great idea for California .... damn, if you’re going to give them driver’s licenses, food stamps, housing assistance, daycare, free schooling and college, etc. then the least you could do would be to supply them with medical care, optical care, dental care, free contraceptives, etc. Hey, what’s a few billion more ... remember the words of the great leader from behind ... “The rich just need to give a little bit more, just a little bit more, ....”
