Ted Cruz continues anti-D.C. crusade in North Texas

ALLEN — U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz believes liberty is under assault, opportunity is crumbling and President Barack Obama’s administration is “utterly lawless.”

But he declared Saturday that he remains full of optimism about the future.

“The American people and only the American people can and will turn this country around,” Cruz told a crowd of more than 1,000 people gathered for a Freedom Rally at the Cottonwood Creek Baptist Church in Allen. “In the last couple of years, we have seen something extraordinary.

“We have seen the rise of the grassroots,” he said. “We have seen it here in Texas. … You inspire me.”

On Friday in Austin, he continued his attack, saying the current president is lawless, dangerous and terrifying.

And on Saturday — amid cheers, standing ovations and flag waving — he continued.

“Liberty is under assault … in this country like never before,” Cruz said. “We have a president [who seems as though he] is going down the Bill of Rights trying to violate them one at a time.”

Cruz said that among Democratic leaders in Washington, D.C., he sees a “consistent pattern of lawlessness, the contempt for rule of law.”

And he said the Affordable Care Act is a mistake.

“This is not an issue about right or left. This is not an issue about conservative or Republican,” Cruz said. “To be honest, there ought to be Democrats lining up” in opposition to it.

“We need to repeal every single word of Obamacare,” he said, adding that other changes need to be made as well, including abolishing the Internal Revenue Service, auditing the Federal Reserve and repealing the Dodd-Frank Act.

I like Cruz, but he doesn't seem to have any results under his belt. He does have the gift to gab, but what differences has he made? We still have Obamacare. We still have that budget. We need someone who will inspire other politicians to vote his way. He does not seem to be able to do that in a way that he turns votes into a majority. Reagan yes. Cruz not so much. Walker for 2016 if you want results and not just rhetoric.

Walker is pro-amnesty.

That makes him a traitor to our pro-constitution cause.

> Obama is a Traitor. And his presidency should be terminated with extreme prejudice.

He’s doing a pretty good job of doing himself in. People are starting to see through the MSM veil due to the hardships he has wrought upon them. His own people are starting to turn against him and he doesn’t even know it.

During WW2, The Socialist FDR Administration instituted wage and price controls on American Companies.

Companies could not raise wages, but they could increase benefits to attract workers that they wanted.

Hence, Companies started offering Medical Insurance to keep present employees, and to attract new employees.

Now our Socialized Society considers it a “right” for an employee, and their dependents to have part or all of their medical insurance paid for by the company that they work for.

So much for the millstone burden of a bad WW2 edict from FDR.

One great thing that could come out of the total collapse of CommieObamaCare is that ONLY the citizen is responsible for any insurance product that they choose to buy.

Thus, allowing Companies to lower the price of their goods and services to the customers by the amount that they had been paying for insurance for their employees, and their dependents.

____________

In similar manner, the Socialist Labor Union Movement in the late 1800’s, and the Socialized FDR Wage Controls of WW2 have produced the relics of Minimum Wage Control and Governmental Labor rules that shackle the productivity of our Society.

Ronald Reagan was fond of saying “Businesses do not pay taxes, because consumers pay all the taxes.”

A business forced by an oppressive Government to pay a higher minimum wage to their workers will simply pass that additional expense on to the consumer in the form of higher prices.

None of the above will make any sense to the true believers in the Obama Plantation, headquartered at 1600 Plantation Avenue, Washington, District of Corruption.

BTW, is there any truth to the rumor that the Potomac River will soon have its name changed to De Nile River?
