'Maybe he's not gay' prompts homosexual backlash
WND ^ | 1/9/2014 | Cliff Kincaid

Having suffered a major setback when Phil Robertson of “Duck Dynasty” got his job back, the gay lobby is now going for a softer target – a pro-family activist in Ohio whose book, “Maybe He’s Not Gay,” undercuts their recruitment efforts among kids.

Author Linda Harvey, who runs a pro-family ministry called Mission America, seems to have emerged as more of a target than Phil Robertson.

Robertson was suspended – then reinstated – from the show after making comments critical of homosexuality, some of them based on biology and the facts of life, and others on Bible passages.

The “Maybe He’s Not Gay” book “seeks to tell kids the truth about homosexual behavior,” Harvey says. It explains in a conversational tone why no one is born homosexual, the health risks associated with the lifestyle and factors that may lead to same-sex attractions.

Harvey asserts that the homosexual movement is revolutionary and designed to overturn traditional cultural values. “It’s a revolution, both inside the minds and hearts of today’s youth – and in our culture,” her book says.

In response, the pro-homosexual Huffington Post attacked the book as “potentially dangerous” because it suggests children don’t have to engage in dangerous homosexual conduct and that parents can influence how their children turn out. The publication also claimed that Amazon had “pulled” the book in response to homosexual criticism.

The article said the author asked Amazon to pull the book. The reviews were from homosexuals condemning the book while admitting they had not even read it.

I'm sure I'm not alone, but don't we ALL know some woman who was married, had kids, and then in her 30s-40s "came out" as a lesbian?

Heck, look at Meridith Baxter-Birney.

HOW could someone hit 55 and hate sex SO much with men, yet STILL has five, yes FIVE kids?

It doesn't make sense.

No matter what "society thinks", I could NEVER have sex with another man. Even for pretend. I'm just not into it.

I like women.

Is that so wrong?

Sure. Why not. But it won’t be right away. Busy life right now. It’ll be my bedtime reading for the next several days.

A close relative has a doctorate in counseling, teaching in a state university. It is common knowledge that there are common traits among male homosexuals.

Absent or distant Father.

At a young age they were molested by an older male or introduced to homosexual behavior by peers.

it's common knowledge but no one can acknowledge it or say it's wrong.

Unlike other sexually immoral behavior, homosexuality is always preceded by denial of explicit Divine grace and rebellion of His Providence. Those who know God because He showed Himself to them, but then chose to turn the truth of God into a lie and worshiped the creation rather than the Creator, have been turned over to their own lusts and to seek that which isn’t convenient.

Romans 1:28-32 is even more explicit of the true “Gay” lifestyle.

A non-profit organization that could use help in teaching children that sodomy is abnormal.

I think conservatives need to start thinking about keeping any psychotic libtards away from their children, no matter if its the mailman or your brother in law.

...or the mailwoman or sister in law...we must remember to be inclusive...

IF a gay gene was found in an unborn child, and the parents started aborting them, would the LIBS come out against abortion?

...I remember hearing that third world women, recently granted access to abortion, were doing away with female offspring, based on the calculus that male children will fetch more money...don’t remember the pro abortion crowd getting all huffy over that...

it’s noteworthy that there is not one other creature in nature , other than the human species , that engages in this sort of behavior . Nest sharing duties is pointed to in birds as an example , but that’s ridiculous . No other case wherein in species of the same gender penetrate the evacutory openings of their fellows , or wherein females eschew a male mate and vainly attempt to procreate with other females . All this is brought on by the capacity for the development of misplaced and perverse sexual desire and lust , in the human species . Better known as sin . Only those that totally discount the reality of God can do these things , no matter what they say . In their hearts they know they are wrong , but they engage with in intention and willfulness . For this there is a cost . A cost few are willing to to even think about , as hedonism controls their thought processes . Not fear of God . One day they will know .

Has Amazon actually pulled the book? They even sell Mein Kampf on there for crying out loud. Then again... Bezos.

Not sure but homosexuals hold a higher level on the PC totem pole than just about anyone else today. Getting kinda tired of it - at least the promotion of it at work (big company, PC HR) has slowed down a bit.

One of the more interesting things that I learned recently and for which I have an interest, is that even lesbians and homosexual men think that there is something wrong with women who want to transition to men. Say that their thinking is different, autistic and rigid.

This trans stuff is a thought disorder apparently.
