Yesh Atid MK to Piron: Stop support of yeshiva that rejoiced at Sharon's death

Yesh Atid MK Yoel Razbozov urged Education Minister Shai Piron to stop funding for Torat Hachaim Yeshiva following a message published by the yeshiva rejoicing the passing of former prime minister Ariel Sharon.

But keep on giving free fuel, electricity and water to Ghaza that also rejoiced the passing of former prime minister Ariel Sharon. Not because it will make a difference in their attitude or the missiles, or the constant incitement, but the International Community makes lots of angry chimp noises whenever we hold them accountable in any way. About a yeshiva, they won't say a thing. Moral of the story: Make friends with lots of angry chimps, and the world is your oyster.

Do you know anything about this yeshiva; e.g., are they Neturei Karta types, or are they PO’ed because Sharon abandoned Gaza, etc.?

Never heard of them. My guess is they were PO’d over the forced evacuation of Ghaza. I hold that against him, too. Still, it’s very low class and Arabish to rejoice at someone’s death.
