The Supreme Court on Monday blocked Arizona from enforcing a ban on most abortions after 20 weeks of pregnancy, in the latest blow for states that have tried to enact strict abortion laws.

The high court declined to hear an appeal from Arizona, leaving in place a prior ruling from the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals that determined the law was unconstitutional. The Supreme Court decision effectively strikes down the law. …

Not enough. For the past century plus, the elites of our America, and every country has and needs its elites, have been brainwashed, bribed or beaten by the Left. They’re natural joiners, love the insulated noncompetitive government environment where they can push their schemes on an ignorant public. The only hope is that technology will make most government unneeded. I don’t see it happening, though. Somehow they float back up, no matter how many times we flush.

The funny thing is that one of the founding “progressives”, Charles Beard, said he hated the Constitution and called it illegitimate because the Founders wrote it to their own economic benefit and not for the benefit of the common man …
One of the biggest liars of our history.

The “progressives” needed the 16th and 17th Amendments to do away with the Founders’ version of federalism and replace it with their imperialism.

Maybe they weren’t as free as we thought. After all, it wasn’t too far down the road that communist organizations like the ACLU started showing up. There were lots of statist experiments, one of the biggest being nationalization of the railroads (between 1917 and 1920; yes, before Amtrak and Conrail, there was the USRA); people like Henry Ford were big admirers of people like Adolf, too.

I have a post from a Freeper Eternal Vigilance #31 in this thread.

I confirmed the authenticity of the post by going to the Texas House website and looking for the bill, which I believe was numbered 2 in the session last year that passed it on the way to the Senate.
