President Obama's signature healthcare program is set to face fresh ridicule after it emerged that the vital Spanish version of the website is filled with embarrassing grammatical errors.
Not only was the portal, CuidadoDeSalud.gov, set live two months late, but critics have also pointed out that the site reads like 'Spanglish' - with some claiming its is so clunky it must have been generated on Google Translate.
And, to make matters worse, just like the original English version which was disastrously launched two months ago - the Spanish version is filled with glitches and does not provide a seamless web experience for its users.
Health care specialist, Adiran Madriz said that the site is not written in recognized Spanish - potentially leading to enormous problems for the 53 million people of Hispanic origin in the United States, accounting for 17 per cent of the population.
'When you get into the details of the plans, it's not all written in Spanish. It's written in Spanglish, so we end up having to translate it for them,' said Madriz of the applicants.

But hey, half of the Hispanics who go to the website couldn’t read it in English. Many couldn’t read it in Spanish. So screwing up in Spanglish might be a somewhat workable solution. NOT!

Translation is an art, not something you can do mechanically. For example a Japanese machine translation, “Youth hung for delinquency” resulted from “Student suspended for misbehavior.” Also a technical translation reading repeatedly “water goat”, when hydrolic ram was meant.

I would suspect that the ‘total’ running cost is over a billion at this point. Especially since it is not completed. Then add the Insurers bail out....

This is NOT the result of incompetence, as no one is THAT incompetent. It is just more evidence that ObamaCare is intended to succeed by failure, ushering the next phase of “single payor” government-run health care. This rigged, actuarily unsound system will first force private insurers to bankruptcy, and trigger massive government bailouts as provided in the ACA law. Once health insurance is out of the way, Big Brother will “benevolently” step in to take over health care itself. Planned from the start...
