President Obama's signature healthcare program is set to face fresh ridicule after it emerged that the vital Spanish version of the website is filled with embarrassing grammatical errors.
Not only was the portal, CuidadoDeSalud.gov, set live two months late, but critics have also pointed out that the site reads like 'Spanglish' - with some claiming its is so clunky it must have been generated on Google Translate.
And, to make matters worse, just like the original English version which was disastrously launched two months ago - the Spanish version is filled with glitches and does not provide a seamless web experience for its users.
Health care specialist, Adiran Madriz said that the site is not written in recognized Spanish - potentially leading to enormous problems for the 53 million people of Hispanic origin in the United States, accounting for 17 per cent of the population.
'When you get into the details of the plans, it's not all written in Spanish. It's written in Spanglish, so we end up having to translate it for them,' said Madriz of the applicants.

Yes! that’s the odd and stoopid thing: “oh, don’t mind the totally off Spanish website, we were just using official unrecognized Spanish.” I’m sure my hs Spanish teacher — who deducted a half point for misplaced accent marks — would have accepted that explanation.
