Our premise is simple.
Expensive television ads do little to persuade an undecided voter to vote for your candidate. People are sick and tired of being told lies in top down messages no one believes, not even those who create those messages.
Voters-and especially undecided voters-are looking for someone they can trust.
Your neighbors and people in your local sphere of influence trust you.
Your direct person-to-person communication with those in your local sphere of influence is by far the most powerful way to influence the outcome of any election. That's why our entire plan is based on neighbors talking to neighbors, explaining why Lamar Alexander has to go, and why Joe Carr is the man to replace him in the United States Senate as one of Tennessee's two representatives there.
Best of wishes with the Carr candidacy. I think TN people feel required by law to keep Lamar!
I admit it seems to be a long shot and an uphill slog. Folks always saying they want a non-slick non-insider. Joe Carr fits that bill. I believe he has a solid core and he is giving Tennessee conservatives a real option.
Thanks, don-o.
Carr for Senate!
Most do want an insider who can bring them the bacon, like Robert C. Byrd (deceased) and Lamar! (still kicking).
Seems to me that the American people do believe such lies, even in Republican primaries.
Your direct person-to-person communication with those in your local sphere of influence is by far the most powerful way to influence the outcome of any election.

This is true but there are many who will not be reached in that way...so the big ads are also necessary. Carr also needs to have some sort of planned event in as many county seats as possible.
My hope is that he can get big events with Palin / Cruz / West. Tennessee is quite long, east to west; Memphis in the morning, Nashville at noon, Knoxville in the evening. I wish I had some insight on what his campaign is actually planning. All I hear is appearances st Tea Party meetings.
Which is surely something good to be doing at this point.
He did report $250k in the 4th quarter but that's not going to buy a whole lot of media. The good news is that he's forcing Lamar! to spend his money early.
I very much like your idea of big events...but he needs to move on that fast. He also DEFINITELY needs to speak to more than just Tea Party people. He already has the majority of their support.
And yes, Lamar is spending a lot...but he has a mountain of money to spend. Carr needs to get more fundraisers going.
