The “Republican Main Street Partnership” is Democrat Funded (democrats protecting moderates)

Steve LaTourette, a former congressman and friend of John Boehner, runs the “Republican Main Street Partnership”. Note the word “Republican.”

As the left-wing Talking Points Memo reported a month ago, LaTourette and his Main Street Partnership have created an affiliated SuperPAC called “Defending Main Street PAC.” Along with the Chamber of Commerce and Republican Leaders, the Main Street Partnership wants to take out troublesome conservatives.

Defending Main Street PAC plans to raise $8 million in this election cycle; by contrast the Senate Conservatives Fund handled $12 million in 2012 and expects to raise even more this time around.

Note, first, that LaTourette spoke with a left-wing site to reveal his plans. Note second that Defending Main Street PAC has had to release its year end campaign finance numbers.

According to its fundraising report, Defending Main Street PAC received its money from a Democrat donor, a group of unions, and an Indian tribe.

More specifically,

◾Bonderman, David gave $30000.00 – the Los Angeles Times referred to him as “David Bonderman, a significant contributor to Democrats, “

◾Laborers’ Political League Education Fund gave $100000.00

◾The Chickasaw Nation gave $50000.00

◾International Union of Operating Engineers [EPEC] gave $250000.00

◾Laborers’ International Union Of North America (LIUNA) PAC gave $150000.00

◾MEBA PAF gave $15000.00 (Marine Engineers Beneficial Association)

◾Working for Working Americans-Federal gave $250000.00 (Building Trades / carpenters PAC)

In other words, the “Republican” Main Street Partnership’s affiliated PAC intends to use George Soros connections and Democrat back groups’ money to defeat conservatives.

More troubling, the Republican Main Street Partnership has a lot of ties to Republican leaders. Again, folks, it is us versus them. You pick.

Well, of course! Just read my tag line.

It sure would be nice to have a legitimate second party.

“Moderates” are nothing but Kapos licking the feet of their democrat masters in hopes of getting a little extra rotten meat with their gruel.

Moderates exist to give cover to democrats so they can get reelected and to prevent conservatives from getting elected.

They are essentially placeholders until real democrats get elected.

Politics takes money. The Republic is in peril. The Founders pledged "our Lives, our Fortunes, and our Sacred Honor". What can we do?

Senate

Support Matt Bevin to oust Mitch McConnell in KY

Support Dwayne Stovall to oust John Cornyn in TX

Support Joe Carr to oust Lamar Alexander in TN

Support Lee Bright to oust Lindsey Graham in SC

Support Dr. Milton Wolf to oust Pat Roberts in KS

Support Chris McDaniel to oust Thad Cochran in MS

House

Support Eric Gurr to oust John Boehner in OH-8

Also, press your Representative to NOT support Boehner for Speaker - or Ryan, either!

Support Katrina Pierson to oust Pete (NOT Jeff) Sessions in TX-32

Support Bryan Smith to oust Mike Simpson in ID-2

Support David Hale to oust Adam Kinzinger in IL-16

"until real democrats can get reelected"

What is a real democrat? Is a DLC Democrat a real democrat or is a Mondale democrat a real democrat? Is Hillary a real democrat or is Elizabeth Warren a real democrat?

You can take Erick Erickson's assosciation argument the other way. He sold his organization, Redstate, to Eagle publishing which was bought by Salam which means that Erickson, by association, is a bible thumping, creationist, fundamentalist.

“What is a real democrat?”

Someone who actually calls him or herself a democrat, as opposed to a democrat who calls him or herself a republican.

You’re quite welcome! Aside from the book I have coming out soon, this is the most I can do.

I don't mean to put words in your mouth, but it sounds like you are saying that these main street republicans, or moderate republicans are the democrat wing of the republican party?

The leftwingers, or Mondale democrats, or true democrats say that the DLC democrats or moderate democrats are the republican wing of the democrat party.

If you go back 15-20 years ago when the center was much more powerful(the radical center), there was this talk about how the left and the right would unite against the center. The cultural compromise of the time was that the left would have to accept right to life and the right would have to accept homosexual marriage.

I don't mean to single you out or criticize you but I don't think you can differentiate between rhetoric and reality, so when a republican lays on the rhetoric, you accept his words as truth.

You might want to enroll in a political science course on rhetoric.

Salem Broadcasting presents itself in that fashion but you are giving them too much credit. If you spend much time listening to their stable of Michael Medved, Hugh Hewitt and Dennis Prager you’ll learn that they are very tight with the GOPe. Their idea of a good conservative is Karl Rove, Dubya, and John McCain.
