Obama must have made a serious, credible threat -forcing Israelis to sign up for Obamacare.
He can apologize all he wants but truth is truth. Kerry is not accumulating all those frequent flier miles and photo ops for nothing. He still desperately wants to be President and figures that Hilary in the end may not run due to her fatal flaws. However Kerry is not accomplishing anything significant and appears to be in a perpetual jet lagged haze.

He is right for apologizing; “obsessive and messianic” rightfully belong to Kerry’s boss, not he himself.

Why, one should never apologize for the truth (except when you slip and say: “That’s the ugliest baby I think I’ve ever seen without a leash”}.
What’s to apologize about? No one can make John Kerry look more foolish than John Kerry. The man is a punchline with a heartbeat. Telling him to take his Nobel Prize and go home was perfectly appropriate.
And why would anyone think Israel is a "close ally" of the USA? They have not been since Obamas resignation from the seat as the free worlds leader on 21 Sept 2011, a seat taken up by Nethanyahu, the new leader of the Free World in his speech to the UN Sept 23 , 2011.

Israel is no longer an "ally" of the USA. Far from it. U.S. Congress puts on an interesting charade.
