A New York Post columnist's characterization of the Newtown shooting as a "little convenient massacre" is hideously insensitive.

Is Fredric Dicker daft? It is beyond unacceptable to use the word "convenient" to described the brutal killing of 20 children and six female educators.

Huh. Well, there you go. I mean, I thought that Hillary Clinton, smartest woman on Earth, was pretty insensitive when she said "what difference does it make?"

Liberals are pretty good at acting offended when it suits them.

I agree with you (that the writer crossed the line). I believe each side in the gun debate is sincere. The other side is simply wrong. Guns in the hands of the general population save lives (among other good results). It’s tough to keep guns out of the hands of those who shouldn’t have them either via background checks or by general prohibition. And, gun-free zones are problematic. We owe those who grieve the loss in that massacre to review our policies. Our side’s position concerns whether schools should have designated people (teachers or others) who are armed. We should be able to say these things without diminishing the loss of life that was suffered.

Considering how anti freedom are so many school personnel and phych counselors, doctors, therapists etc., I wonder if some of these school shootings are not manipulated? That is to say, are these unbalanced individuals being guided to perform the shootings to further an agenda?

☭ It sure was "convenient"; almost like the anti-gunners had orchestrated it themselves at year-end, for maximum effect. ∅traitor, MAIG and other leftists reveled in the slaughter and carnage and they used it to maximum effect, but just not to the length they and their gun-banning agenda ultimately wanted. The typical Marxist-left newspaper's opinion is only good for wrapping-up dropped dog poop, and not much else. ☭

Yes, “hideous insensitivity” is the realm of the liberal.
They use it as a club, when convenient to their cause.

I’ll bet that if you search the Hartford Courant’s archives back to 2008, you won’t see a single article that expressed concern over Rahm Emanuel’s “You never want a serious crisis to go to waste” comment.

Both sides are not and have never been sincere. The Democommies mean to disarm the American populace in order to become our masters. The weapons owned by the American people are the only thing that stand in their way. The old saying that he who pays the fiddler calls the tune should be updated to say he that has the weapons is the boss. They mean to be our masters and knowing they are a small percentage of the population can only achieve their goal by our willful turning away from the truth. The truth is these people are a small percentage of the population, less then 5% I would guess, the rest are what are called ‘useful idiots’, in their small minds they hold knowledge that the great unwashed will never be able to comprehend, they are the elite in politics, the media, the professors in our bastions of higher education, and the ‘it makes me feel good crowd’, in general they are dumb a55es. We have allowed them to spread their poison and now we are starting to see the results. And it aint going to be pretty.

The Jews who stayed in Germany bought into the lie that ‘it can’t happen here, we are an educated and cultured people, we are not barbarians, and they went on believing that as the gun barrel was pressed to the back of their heads. We constantly hear from people that the left is well intentioned but misguided, we must make the world safer for our children, why does anyone need a magazine that holds a hundred shots other then for mass murder, sounds good to the dummies but it is only a tapestry of lies that the Democommies hide behind.

The Democommies are insane. When you realize this and compare their thinking with that of Sanger, Hitler, Lenin, Stalin, Castro, Mao, the North Korean nutjob, to name but a few, history tells us that the end result is always death to anyone they think in some manner disagrees with their warped thinking.

We are well past the time when we can delude ourselves that this too shall past, after the next election, or when the adults return, aint going to happen that way. It will past but a bunch of us will not be here to see it.

No they are not sincere... “SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED”... it does not say that about abortion but just try to regulate the murder of the most innocent and watch the howls and screams of “war on women”. The left is of satan... therefore there is NO GOOD WITHIN THEM!
