One of the guys behind the pot legalization movement does admit that pot is just the camels nose under the tent. They plan to also make heroin and cocaine legal.

I guess one has to smoke a ton of weed before this makes sense, because I’m just not getting it. But who is going to be high? The guy who drank a martini after dinner or the guy who smoked pot? And which is going to stay in the pilots system the longest. You can drink a glass of wine and not get buzzed. Can't do that with pot.
You can smoke some pot and be fine again in a few hours... same with a martini. If you have 5 martinis... then it's different... same thing if you spend all evening smoking joint after joint.
Basically their argument boils down to something like this: "no where in the Constitution does it say you can not (fill in the blank) keep children in the basement for sex, therefore there should be no federal law against it.
This is the argument they use for everything.

That is just factually incorrect. It is detectable at levels that could not conceivably have the slightest effect.
