I stand corrected.
In the interviews I have seen of him, h3 called the movie an accurate portrayal.
He was on with Beck last week and that is where I saw him say that when Beck asked him about the scene. I recall seeing an interview of Marcus when he released the book and it seemed to me the actual events were more centered on the little boy and the old man and young man were distant and not face to face as in the movie.
Now I’ll have to read the book, which in itself is a good thing.
That was his twin brother.

This is true....but this story is timeless!!! Whether it was GW Bush or Barack Hussein Obama......you never send your military into war without the will, a plan, a path to victory. GW Bush did this in Iraq and we destroyed al Qeada in that country....only to have Obama lose the country because of his lack of interest in the strategic defense of the USA!!!
Obama has sent American military folks into battle with their hands tied behind their backs!!

He is in several scenes. He’s wearing the black wool cap at the picnic table after the Murphy and Dietz run. He’s in the briefing scene a few times. He’s in the Chinook that gets shot down, as part of the quick reaction force.

I agree with your assessment. Iraq was not worth it. The minute the Shiites took control of the Iraq government, the country belonged to Iran. Both GW Bush & Barack Hussein Obama blew it big time. Bush was badly msitaken.....Obama’s heart is with our enemies.
Ya know....before Rome became like Obama’s America, weak, laughed at and not feared.......when Rome was attacked or threatened by its enemies...it did not just beat them....it destroyed them. Our country is heading toward failure at a rapid pace........sad to say. The horror of war as depicted in “lone Survivor is headed her....thanks to Obama and company!!! Most Americans, like the Roman citizens do not have a clue what destruction is coming.

The characters were in likable. It was a sappy dramatization. Not realistic.
Band of Brothers is excellent, realistic, with likable characters and reasonable violence
