Mustafa al-Gharib, a 22-year-old Canadian-born Muslim convert who left Calgary for Syria in November 2012, has been killed by Free Syrian Army (FSA) forces during rebel infighting, CBC News has confirmed.
According to sources in Syria and Canada, al-Gharib was injured in battle, and subsequently captured and killed by an unknown faction of the FSA in the city of Aleppo.
Born in Nova Scotia as Damian Clairmont, al-Gharib was reportedly fighting with Jabhat al-Nusra, an al-Qaeda-affiliated rebel group consisting of largely foreign extremists.
Al-Gharib converted to Islam following a two-year period of personal anguish in his teens that included him dropping out of high school, a diagnosis for bipolar disorder and a suicide attempt at age 17.

Only a suggestion here...but has the CIA ever sat down and noted the psychological profile of these guys? Is it possible that the overwhelming number are bi-polar? This sales item of 72-odd virgin gals....this just wouldn’t work with most normal guys, and I’d just suspect that you’d have to be bi-polar to believe in something like this.
Teenagers and young men are typically idealistic and prone to persuasion by those who preach high ideals such as religious evangelist.
Add in a young man who is bi-polar in a manic phase and he might be very susceptible to conversion. Especially if he was not brought up in a strong Christian home where he would be inoculated against conversion to a false religion.
Its usually unbalanced bored youth, the kind of people that would join a gang to belong, or outright psychopaths that need an excuse to shoot at people. 99% this was some idiot who got sucked into this and lost his life, nobody to blame but himself. Although one cannot discount the possibility that he may have worked as a CIA agent doing surveillance on the whole thing in which case RIP.
To my mind, anyone whose name contains "al" is automatically under suspicion. Including al-Sharpton.
It is a good thing to see these monsters devouring each other and we should encourage a lot more of it
LOL...since holder’s people like long names like the muzzies...al-sharpton should just be added to the list.
