Haha. This is metaphysics with the point of denying God’s existence.

So what do cosmetologist know about the universe? They should stick to doing hair.

In the alternate universe, I wasn't thinking of Mr. Spock.

Amazingly, socialism works in this alternate universe.
However, people must hold onto the earth to keep from drifting into outer space, since the force of gravity is repellant rather than attractive.

Most scientists know a small part of reality well, but about the whole of it almost nothing.

I like the idea of this because in some parallel world, i’m married to Jessica Alba.
I’m also a dictator and all the liberals are in “re-education camps”
Parallel Spock is a badass by the way....

President Giuliani... I like it... How about a parallel universe with a President Perot?

Long ago I posited there is at least one parallel world on the other side of the møøse/chesse continuum wherein my sister remains unbitten...

I strongly suspect “Dark Matter” is a way to patch a big hole in a flawed underlying theory. Kind of how the ancient scientists had to come up with wheels within wheels to maintain a theory of a geocentric universe.

Yeah
Galaxies should be flying apart far more than they are if our understanding of gravity was correct.
To make the equations work they infer “dark matter” as a fudging coefficient.
But maybe there is no dark matter and our equations and understanding of gravity are wrong in some way.
or you can invent parallel universes with leaking gravity to make the equations work.

If people feel the need to talk about more than one "universe", they first should redefine the very word "universe".

Frankly, I don’t think they are measuring the red shift/galactic regression correctly. I think the galaxies are not flying apart as quickly as they think, and thus their estimates of matter and gravitational constants are off.
But I’m not a physicist. I can’t even balance my checkbook without a calculator.
