Here’s an idea, rather than wasting BILLIONS of our dollars on yet another prohibition that won’t work... We instead put that money into medical research to fix that litany of health problems?

Good point. With the Trillions already spent world wide on the “War on Drugs”, they probably could have found a cure for addiction by now.
But then nobody would be getting rich from drug sales, government blank checks and seizures.
