The conspiracy theory is in thinking that this is leading to jackbooted thugs on every street corner, breaking down doors and rounding up undesirables. This isn't the next Nazi regime, Obammy isn't Hitler (he couldn't plan a takeover if you gave him a roadmap), the NSA cheif isn't Himmler.

Just for the record, regardless of how dire you think things are, it's really hard to take you seriously when you use phrases like "may the chains rest lightly" and "when the whip comes down".
