What's worse, he was elected when the economy was already growing for over a year, and he was in office when the "peace dividend" from the end of the Cold War and the Tech Boom had kicked in. He had nothing to do with any of that, but he got the credit for the job growth and "balanced budget" that resulted. We have been at a disadvantage ever since.
lesser evil is still evil. We have to learn to nominate and elect candidates who represent all of our values.
