Yes, Rand was officially atheist and so what. Many ethical atheists are actually not so allergic to God as they are to pitiful, hypocritical religious practices. Maybe she and God made up in the end, I don’t know, I hope it happened.
I think many atheists are not so much opposed to the idea of God as they are prone to thinking that God looks back at them in the mirror. While I am a fan of Rand I think she may have been in that camp.
