Do “these people” who need to be told what to eat include her son JEB!?

Absolutely not.

First, note that she doesn't refer to our people, or The People. She refers to these people. "These" people are "other" people. They are little people.

The ruling class makes the rules, and lives by their own rules, which pretty much allow them to do whatever they want. In the highly unlikely event that multi-billionaire Mike Bloomberg wanted a large sugary drink from a 7-Eleven, he'd simply send three or four thralls in for small ones, who would act as cup-holders until their next mission.

I don't have a problem with what Laura said. The First Male will undergo scrutiny if we ever get one.

I'm pretty sure he can take care of himself, Babs.

Laura Bush is pro abortion, that is not classy. Frankly, I don’t like any of them. Just because they’re married to the president doesn’t mean I have to admire them.

Maybe she's trying to knife Christie in the back to help Jeb.

Winner!

I didn’t like their husbands, either. Reagan’s biggest mistake was picking Bush, who had no fundamental support, no base in the Republican Party.

My first thought - anti-Christie as well.

According to former First Lady Laura Bush, there is no room for fat Presidents.

One wonders how she views her mother-in-law Barbara Bush.

Maybe it's just me but I have noticed that Barbara qualifies as obese, as medical standards go, so we can have fat First Ladies, just not "First Gentlemen!"

“...used to respect and admire.”

I lost any respect I had for Barbara Bush after her comment telling Sarah Palin to “go back to Alaska.” Typical North Eastern Liberal - Progressive arrogance.

NO MORE BUSHES!

I found it on the web. I think this proves time travel is possible.

I always thought Robert Redford looked exactly like Jefferson. It’s too bad he never played him when he was younger, but you know these libs...They don’t like glorifying the founding fathers.

“Well, somebody’s got to tell these people what to eat,” she says”

“Let them eat cake”

You don’t tell people what to do unless they are breaking the law. You can encourage them to eat healthier and to exercise more, but she nor the government has any business telling me what to eat.

I thought maybe it was one of those paintings that look just like a photograph. Wouldn’t that be great if the Founding Fathers could time travel? Would 0bama have them jailed? Probably.

Not a fan of either Bush Presidents...but I voted for both. I really don’t want to see Bush III. This is not a Monarchy.

I do take issue w/ taking shots on what people look like vs talking about policy issues/differences. I don’t care if someone is thin, pudgy or truly fat. I just don’t care. I care about policy and how they would govern.

And I really don’t give two hoots about First Ladies. They just are not important to me at all.

But since someone mentioned cake...that sounds tasty. I wish I had some. I’m thinking a nice yellow two layer w/ coconut icing.

Intolerance is a terrible thing to go through life holding inside. Being so hateful toward people who don’t agree with you sounds just like a liberal. We all know people like you. Moaners, groaners, complainers about everything. Never a positive thing to say about anyone or anything.
