PARK CITY -- The Sundance premiere for Ryan White and Ben Cotner's Proposition 8 documentary The Case Against 8 at Temple Theatre on Saturday afternoon drew one of the most enthusiastic audience responses of the festival to date. OUR EDITOR RECOMMENDS

Sundance at 30: Vintage Photos of Park City's Biggest Stars Lawyers Ted Olson and David Boies, who successfully fought to overturn California's Proposition 8 banning same-sex marriage, were on hand for a Q&A that followed a sustained standing ovation after the film's credits rolled. The case went all the way to the Supreme Court. VIDEO: 5 Breakout Stars at this Year's Sundance Film Festival But the pair said the battle will continue as legislation and legal maneuvering is introduced in states that have not benefited from a Supreme Court ruling like California, where the High Court struck down the controversial proposition in June. "The goal is to have marriage equality in all 50 states in five years," Olson said. If you look at the progress that has been made since June, I think you can see that we are well on our way." Olson and Boies have joined a case that is pending in Virginia. "There will be a variety of processes," Olson said of the legal strategy moving forward. "You will see it in some states by legislation. You will see it in some states by a state court. And you will see it in states where it doesn't work in a federal court. We've seen it in a federal court here in Utah in the past couple of weeks."

Unicorns are fake. Mental illness and perversion are real.

Like history being written by the victors, so to will determination of crazy and normal be written by the victors of this social war. It's time. We must answer this abomination with all out marshaling of our forces, or face assimilation by the Marxist/pervert block. It may already be too late for the Western Europeans. As nature abhors a vacuum, it appears those folks in those nations will succumb to the morality they may find in Islam rather than succumb to the perversion of formerly Western European Christianity.

We need to act sooner rather than later.

He was good in Jeremiah and Butch & Sundance. Both movies excellent. Both he, newman and commie fag Will Geer are reprehensible but are in the majority in hollyweird.

Like music and other “arts”, you will find a majority of leftist and perverted losers. I self edit what I watch/listen to, to a point. But I must say that certain classic pieces from lefty Willie Nelson’s “Mammas Don’t Let Your Babies Grow Up to Be Cowboys” to some of The Beatles middle period, to the movies already discussed, are in my view, GREAT and I will guiltily continue to be entertained by them. I do limit and block the mediocre in those industries, and all those that preach directly against what is moral and good

Pretty much as I see it also. Let me just say one thing... "The Outlaw Josey Wales"... only Eastwood could have pulled that off perfectly... The Duke in "True Grit"... the only man that could have pulled it off perfectly... proved recently. Bogey in "Casablanca"... not even arguable.

"Jeremiah Johnson" could have been played by someone else... possibly even better. I just have never thought that crater face was a good actor. Newman, another man that I despise, was a great thespian. I'll give him his due respect for his abilities. redford reminds my of some high school drama queen that became successful... like miley cyrus has become "successful".

Agreed.

Bogey was a leftist Dhimmicrat to a point. He drank the hollyweird Koolaid. Though I do believe he was more of a real man than his hollyweird friends would have liked.

The "Gay Marriage Advocate Lawyer's" plan is easy -- easy -- easy ---

The Sodomites don't need to spend all that $$$ on fifty-seven (57) individual state referendums ...

They just need to find eight (8) corrupt, blackmailable Federal District judges ... into whose courts they will "steer" the lawsuits into.

"The will of the American people" be DAMNED ...

This is precisely "why" the Democrats, MSM, Karl Rove and Mitt Romney "pooped their pants" (for the children in the audience) ...

when Newt Gingrich suggested that we (in the 21st century) follow Thomas Jefferson's and James Madison's 1800 example ...

with a "constitutionally approved" FIRING OF CORRUPT FEDERAL JUDGES.

============= Today's American Judicial History Lesson ==============

The Democratic-Republicans (originally called anti-Federalists) held the majority in Congress under the new Jefferson administration, and soon repealed the Judiciary Act, effectively terminating the new judges to prevent the Federalists from gaining more control of the judiciary.

This was the only way Congress could legitimately get rid of Article III federal judges, who are entitled to serve lifetime commissions unless they commit impeachable offenses.

The old Congress passed another act during its lame duck session, The Organic Act of the District of Columbia of 1801, which established Washington, DC, as an independent federal territory.

One provision of the legislation was that President Adams could appoint an unspecified number of justices of the peace, low-level judicial workers, to serve the needs of the newly incorporated District of Columbia.

Two days before leaving office, President Adams nominated 42 Federalists to fill these positions (these men later became known as the "Midnight Judges").

The Senate approved the nominations the day before Adams' administration ended, and John Marshall, then Secretary of State (and Supreme Court Chief Justice, as of February 1801) stayed late recording and sealing the commissions.

Unfortunately, he was unable to deliver them before Thomas Jefferson took office.

Jefferson found the undelivered commissions sitting on a desk in the Secretary of State's office, and decided 42 justices of the peace was entirely too many.

He immediately eliminated twelve positions, then appointed members of his own party to five of the remaining thirty judgeships.

Four of the seventeen men who lost their opportunities filed suit in the US Supreme Court in an effort to compel Secretary of State James Madison to deliver their commissions so they could take office. This lead to the landmark case Marbury v. Madison, (1803).

Why are they waiting 5 years? They should demand it immediately and kill everyone who stands in their way. I’m sure the media would cover for them.

IMHO they will have it. Nine unelected men in black will see to it. Some - ONE for certain - are being blackmailed, and others are just out and out RAT libtards who will do what their king demands of them. EVERYTHING IS ABOUT THE NEXT ELECTION AND IT MAKE NO DIFFERENCE TO THEM THE DIRECTION OF THE NATION LET ALONE THE SOCIETY.
