I’ve been wondering if it wouldn’t be worth while to have the local county GOP groups, through their state chairs, demand that the National party stop attacking Tea Partiers. It would be a grass-roots way of telling them to back off. If they lose us, they also lose at the top. I don’t know why they don’t understand this, and I’m getting pretty frustrated. Lots of conservatives here on FR are ready to abandon the GOP. I’m not there yet, but getting close.

Although in many states, like Florida, the GOP is worse than the National HQ....note Florida redistricted Tea Party House conservatives Allen West and Sandy Adams into Democrat areas....West lost...and Adams seat ended up going to (wait for it)...Alan Grayson.
Yea, that was an outrage to lose West for Grayson.
Is the average Florida Republican party member - those who are PCP’s, or involved in party politics - happy with that? If not, they ought to be fighting with their own leaders. Tooth and nail!
