A couple of days ago a Freeeper posted that a cop in a different state did a license plate scan and it told the cop he had a carry permit. So, the cop stopped him and demanded to see the gun. When he said he didn’t have it they were delayed for 90 minutes for the car to be searched. I wasn’t aware states shared that info or that it would be available to an auto-scan. I’m beginning to think that licensed carry isn’t a good idea. Maybe we need laws tat just allow carry regardless. I mean the bad guys are already carrying concealed. Thoughts?

The guy needs to sue Maryland in Federal Court for violating the Firearms Owners Protection Act of 1986. That act provides for “safe passage” of non-residents passing through any other state irrespective of that state’s gun laws. I just don’t know how New York City gets away with arresting people passing through any of their airports given this law.

That was here in the People’s Republic of Maryland.

The police force involved was the MD Transportation Authority.

Why they have their own police when we have State Police already is a very curious question.

Six states now allow constitutional carry, concealed. Although Wyoming only for residents of that state.

I believe the 2nd amendment is crystal clear, I believe the American people need to grow a pair and take back their freedoms lost.
