Lou likes to talk. He knows that works with too many.
Where was he a year ago when it was time to elect a House Speaker? to replace Bohner as Speaker?
He didn’t step up himself. He was hiding from that.
My memory isn’t what it used to be, but I think Gohmert did nominate someone else for speaker.
What his ultimate vote was I can’t recall.
I believe Gohmert voted for Allen West in 2013 for Speaker of the House.

Defeatism rears its head yet again. Louie Gohmert was among the hardcore who voted against Boehner.
If you look at the Republicans who voted against Boehner (even though he had enough to win) you’ll see among those hardcore conservatives the names of a number of folks contending for nomination for Senate in the Republican primary in 2014.
Folks, let’s have some courage. Let’s not allow ourselves to be discouraged by the defeatists (and possible fifth columnists) among us—particularly when 2014 holds such promise for Tea Party candidates.
He is in a position to make more widely known actions by Obama to make tea party organizations extinct by taxing them and preventing them from campaigning for any candidate.
