Gov. Cuomo has a message for conservative Republicans — you don’t belong in New York.
Cuomo said Friday that members of the GOP with “extreme” views are creating an identity crisis for their party and represent a bigger worry than Democrats such as himself.
“Their problem isn’t me and the Democrats; their problem is themselves,” the governor said on Albany’s The Capitol Pressroom radio show.
“Who are they? Right to life, pro-assault weapons, anti-gay — if that’s who they are, they have no place in the state of New York because that’s not who New Yorkers are.”
He added that moderate Republicans, such as those in the state Senate, “have a place in their state.”
Cuomo hammered Republican activists whose views he said were out of step with the majority of New Yorkers and said the party has to back moderates to have any hope of winning seats in this fall’s elections.
“You have a schism within the Republican Party,” Cuomo observed. “They’re searching to define their soul. That’s what’s going on . . . It’s a mirror of what’s going on in Washington.”(continued)

In AZ, we have been inundated with ads saying ‘come to New York. Open a business and pay no taxes for 10 years’. Does he really think small businesses are mostly run by DEMS??

The Albany Times Union, the Professional Obama Outlet Propaganda Sheet, located in the New York state capital, (POOPS for you in Rio Linda) is yet to report Cuomo’s attack on the states citizens of what ever race and culture.
However the local early morning radio shows are addressing it.
IIRC Andrew’s dad campaign against Ed Koch used the slogan:
“Cuomo not the Homo”..... nice family.
Have no worry there Mr. Cuomo, I “left” there long ago after having visited and claiming I would never return again. So far I have kept MY word.

So true- my daughter and her husband live in rural Otsego county and his is a family with Dutch roots that has been there for several geneations. Believe me - they own guns and do a lot of hunting.
I do worry that the liberals are creating larger and larger pockets upstate - Ithaca (hippie valley); Rochester, the cities with universities. I hope the conservative New Yorkers (myself included) can hang on because there is much beauty in this state. Our children are being indoctrinated via the public schools and universities, however, and I am sad to report the indoctrination seems to be working. My own (3 20’s and one high schooler)daughters have not converted to liberalism but almost overwhelmingly ALL of their friends have bought the lies. The poisoning of the schools, media, and colleges has largely succeeded.

This coming from a cheap politician, who never had to apply for a job, who never stood on an unemployment line, who was given the best schools, who lived with a silver spoon in his mouth, who never served in the military, who had a lot to do with the financial crash (HUD)and who is devoid of guts.

The left works on the theory, if you take 2 steps forward and only 1 back, you still get to where you want to go.
The left, mainly Hillary, doesn’t want to win in Nov.
They, the left and Hillary, have a better chance of winning in 2016 if the repubs win in Nov.
If the repubs win they, the dems, can then lay the blame of all that’s wrong on the repubs.
Dems will say repubs have control of house and senate they are the problem
Repubs will say Obama is problem.
Hillary will say both are problem, we need a “Third Way”.
She will separate herself from having caused the problems.
