Gene, good to see you got religion, at least for a few minutes, to bash people you don’t agree with.
Nothing so sorry as ignorance trying to teach....
You read tripe like this, and you recall that God truly wants everyone to come to Him, and be with Him, and live in Love.
But a worm who spreads this kind of “thinking” does indeed do harm against God’s will, while (and this is the important part) writing as if he knows Gods way and words. So it causes me to have, well, a very human reaction.
My immediate reaction is to wonder what it will be like when the writer faces the Lord to answer for a life filled with things like this. I cannot know God’s words then, but can only imagine it will be... tough.
About one nanosecond after he croaks, Gene will no longer be an atheist. But by then it’ll be too late.
GOD shall NOT be mocked. The author of this blasphemy will one day find out that GOD is a jealous and vengeful GOD. HIS love is unlimited... so is HIS anger.
He will BELIEVE one day... that is a fact.
Pray for him... yes... but lend him no credence.
Let’s see ... A pud-puffer speaking for God using slang and theologically unsound gibberish versus Phil Robertson quoting God using the Bible’s own language ...
I know which one I believe.
But he didn’t say they were wonderful. By liberal interpretation, if you don’t praise something liberals love, you have condemned it, and you are a HATER, HATER, HATER!!!
This was originally published 2 days ago in (gasp) the Washington Post .... just reprinted in Buenos Aries.
Although you may not leave a comment in the B.A. reprint, you MAY respond to Weingarten in the Washington Post article:
Why not let the mongrel know what you think of his hate for God ... ?
I’m a bigot too. I discriminate on behavior everytime. But I don’t care about skin color, nose length or what hangs or doesn’t between the legs.
Let him go ahead and mock, and congratulate himself on his razor-sharp wit. /s One day he’ll be reminded of every word.
And what’s with the “disfavour” stuff? What American spells it that way?
Suspect ol’ Gene likes to pack the fudge once in a while.
