Farmers Almanac Predicts "Piercing," "Bitterly", "Biting" Cold Weather For Super Bowl Game
Farmers Almanac ^ | 1/21/14

Looks like Winter is going to do what it does best, act like winter. With Super Bowl XLVIII being played at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey’s Meadowlands. Being a Viking fan, I will enjoy the game in the comfort of my living room. However, for the elite that will be at the game while listening to an opera singer during half time, it could be a bit miserable.

Any predictions as to who will come out on top? You would think that the weather will favor Denver, but Payton has never done very well in cold weather. So if I get my wish and the storm of the century hits during the game, will Seattle win, or will Payton win his second ring?

Keep in mind that the last time a team with a great defense played in the Superbowl, was when New Orleans took out their third QB. They ended both Warner and Favre's careers, while forcing Payton to get a few surgeries on their way to winning their first Super Bowl.

I was off a bit. I guess the opera singer Renee Fleming will sing the National Anthem before the game. My Bad!

I may be in the minority, but I am HAPPY there is going to be a Super Bowl played in the ELEMENTS.

Given that I don’t watch the NFL much anymore, it probably doesn’t matter to the clowns running the league.

February 2 Superbowl in NJ outdoors at night.
What could go wrong with that?

Nothing, as long as you're a high roller or in the commissioner's well-heated Skybox.

Praying for bitter cold and heavy snow before, during, and after the game.

I'll be watching the commercials and some of the game from the safety of SE Georgia.

Three weeks until Pitchers and Catchers report.

NO, the game is at the Meadowlands at Met Life Stadium which is in New Jersey.

Sorry, but they do not play football in New York City. The only place they play football in the state of NY, is in Buffalo.

I predict Broncos in a relatively low scoring game.

But whose idea was it to play the Super Bowl in New Jersey in February? They must have been nuts.

“And his estate should demand that his name be removed from the Trophy.”

I doubt they will; they never bothered to get his name off the NJ Turnpike rest area north of the stadium in NJ that is crawling with deviants...

Still predicted as nicer weather than we had in the Wild Card round, and cold and snow are the proper weather for football.

I thought The Red Hot Chili Peppers and Bruno Mars were performing during halftime.

Maybe it's Brunhilde Mars. ☺

I hope whoever sings won’t make it the Star Mangled Banner. Singers feel they want to make it unrecognizable. This crap should not be allowed for the National Anthem.

Me? Not today. Did you know there is a Kosciusko Island in Southeast Alaska? I’ve been there, it’s a beautiful area.

Been looking at 10 day forecast. So far it doesn’t look too bad the days before the game. We will see.
