SC Tea Party Leader: 'Unfortunate' Lindsey Graham Dismisses Grassroots
breitbart.com ^ | 1/20/14 | Tony Lee

Joe Dugan, the Executive Producer of the South Carolina Tea Party Convention and Chairman of the Myrtle Beach Tea Party, appeared on Breitbart News Sunday on Sirius XM Patriot channel 125 and said 2014 will be an even bigger year for the movement than 2010, the year which put the Tea Party on the map and gave Republicans back the House of Representatives in an historic midterm

Dugan told host and Breitbart News Executive Chairman Stephen K. Bannon, "2010 was a firecracker. 2014 is going to be an explosion."

He said the Tea Party has always been right about the perils of Obamacare. He said when Americans get "hit in the pocketbook on Obamacare," the Tea Party will get even more credibility on health care, which will make the movement gain more credibility on other issues such as the national debt. He said the impact will be felt at the ballot box.

Dugan said that citizens in the Tea Party movement "are the smartest people" and are well-versed in history and "up to date" on all of the relevant issues. Dugan said it angers him to hear people in Washington dismiss the conservative base as a bunch of rubes and noted how he dedicated his life to fight to take the country back after his grandchild was born.

Dugan said he wanted to have such a convention, which was livestreamed across the nation on Breitbart News and in Spanish, to get the movement's message out to a broad group of people. He noted that the convention, in addition to having Congressmen, hosted speakers who were not household names but preeminent experts in their respective fields.

"It's very unfortunate," he said before nothing that it is "almost a given one of the candidates" running against him will force a runoff.

The Founders were members of The TEA Party.

We can only hope.

Anyone with SC polling numbers indicating that Graham has been even dented, yet? Ramping up opposition is increasingly urgent closing into the election.

All digits crossed for TP clout.

If the T.E.A. Party can get out the votes and primary both Graham & Cornyn out of the November elections, that will send a profound message to the RNC and set us up for Nov 2016.

John Cornyn is running ads in Texas like his job depends on it! ..spendings 10s of millions of dollars.

Why would a good incumbent "Conservative" have to do that for a primary election.

...cause he's scared! Very Scared!

And he’s ripping off Cruz’ accomplishments in the ads! Nauseating!

Got a telephone poll call recently. The purpose of the poll was to assess the SC senate race. Included in the poll were two big names: Mark Sanford and Trey Gowdy. I get the feeling that if the numbers are right, either one of those guys will enter the race.

Either will better represent the state than Lindsey, who is embarrassing.

“Anyone with SC polling numbers indicating that Graham has been even dented, yet? “

You betcha. Groups have been running negative ads against Linda for more than a year, and his approval rating fell from 71% to 43%. Linda is roundly hated in SC, and he can’t go anywhere in the state without a platoon of armed guards. Different Republican county organizations have passed resolutions against Linda, telling him to get lost and FU. Hope that helps.

Thank you for good news, because right now these campaigns against incumbents are a dark hole for us outside South Carolina and Kentucky.

Trey Gowdy would be tops to replace Graham in the senate. He’s wonderful, but, filing dates are closing soon, aren’t they?

Would like to see more stories on SC and Kentucky races.

Thx, you guys! Rita
