Anyone else hearing snide comments about global warming from friends and coworkers? This stuff makes the big con a lot of work for the believers and conmen of man made climate change.

When winter storms give you bananas, make a frozen banana split, I always say.

What is this “winter” thing? Apparently it’s never happened before in the history of the world.

Annoying, yes, but not a big deal. Every few winters, the East gets on the cold side of the storm track. But the East is where there's a lot of population and media attention.

In the Midwest and the Plains, every winter brings blizzards.

Why do they always scream and holler they are “not prepared”? You would think by now they would be. Oh, I forgot, all the money for prepared is being stolen.

What makes this one a doozie in the New York City area is that it’s not one of those typical heavy, wet snowfalls you get around here. The temperature is already down near the single digits and this feels more like a prairie blizzard than a coastal storm.

I moved my family from the north to the deep south to escape cold and snow, and it’s following me. High tomorrow will be 37 degrees.

Please keep your cold stuff to yourselves, northeners.

>>>the disaster media is working overtime>>>

And nowhere have I found a comparison to ANY previous winters. I survived a few bad ones while growing up.

And while we’re at it, I’d like to know why the government made it a law that a gas furnace has to have electricity to start it. I asked the same question of a very competent gas furnace repair man and he said after a bit of thought, “Good question. I have no idea.”

No.. its the........POLAR VORTEX!!!!!!!!!

To those of who have lived for many years in the Northeast, its just an old fashioned winter - like in the 1940s and 1950s.
