After meeting for eight hours, the grand jury submitted a document to the criminal clerk of court saying it will not indict Officer Randall Kerrick on the charge of voluntary manslaughter related to the shooting death of Jonathan Ferrell.
A letter on the second page said the grand jury respectfully requested the district attorney submit a bill of indictment to a lesser -included, or related offense.

But not a cop.
Once again a righteous shoot.
Agreed, I knew this was going to happen.
Are you familiar with this case?
Thread with picture of victim at 23 and 37. . .
Another pig gets away with murder.
I was trying to say in my own awkward way what ClearCase_guy said so eloquently at post #2
I cannot agree more! These guys have a get out of jail free card and the more they let them get away with crimes the worse they get. This has got to end!
Get the jerk in civil court and make him pay because the bar is much lower!
But the cop only hit with 10 rounds out of 12...
If he doesn’t get lynched by a mob first that’s probably next.
After sharpton/jackson & “THUG” get the “community” whipped into a bigger frenzy.
Good, people people are pretty pissed in NC over this BS!
Keep the race card out of the issue because we don’t need another obama crybaby!
” Get the jerk in civil court and make him pay because the bar is much lower!”
Yes....the standards to prevail are lower in civil cases...but the badgemonkeys don’t care.....THEY don’t lose. The TAXPAYER
is the loser. Monkey unions insure that all civil damages are
paid by the taxpayer. You can’t get the thugs charged with a crime
and you can’t force them to bear the costs of their criminal
misconduct. There is NO incentive for them to change their
ways. Until that changes nothing gets better, and all the incentives
are for them to become more brutal and abusive.
Gee,I have really good luck in civil court.Never lost yet knock on wood and I even won some good ones in criminal court against a few cops in my day when they were caught lying.
I’m just making a prediction.
Unbelievable. There couldn’t be a more clear case of manslaughter. Most of the bullets entered Ferrell through the shoulders going downward through his body. Meaning he was already falling down. And Kerrick just kept on firing, til his gun was empty.
Yes.....but out of whose pockets was the settlement paid.
If the loser in civil action was a badgemonkey he went just
went whistling on his way while Joe Q Public got screwed
Into paying for the thugs misconduct....or outright criminality.
When you sue them in civil court you bring 2 suits. One against the department and the other suit you sue him personally.
You can name them but the monkey’s union will FORCE the city/county/state to pay. Any judgement that applies to the thug is paid by the taxpayer
under threat of a walkout by the monkey’s. Less than 1% of all badgemonkeys who have had a judgement rendered against them for their conduct actually pay it themselves. Strong unions equals zero personal accountability.
