Edward Snowden is expected to offer his opinion of President Obama's NSA reforms during a Webcast question-and-answer session on Thursday. It will be Snowden's first live chat since he began releasing classified internal documents last June that revealed the National Security Agency's surveillance programs, according to FreeSnowden.is, the support site hosting the hour-long Q&A. Snowden, who is currently living in exile in Russia, was charged with espionage after reportedly stealing 1.7 million classified documents from US government computers.

Kinda odd timing... given all the security headaches Russia’s dealing with right now.

Ed Snowden: the new Salman Rushdie.

But instead of a work of fiction which enraged Muslims, Snowden wrote the truth which enraged Leftists.

What did Orwell say...

“In a time of universal deceit, telling the truth is a revolutionary act”

He also enraged big-brother types of every political persuasion.

It’s about time to face the facts: Snowden was likely a sincere libertarian who came to some kind of logical conclusion about how inconsistent a lot of politics. Can’t say I condone him in what he did, but I can’t say I didn’t see some kind of person who wanted to be sincere taking a swipe at the establishment.

No doubt,,im with you that the American STASI could efficiently track him in Russia. Just as the can and do with Americans. Which is exactly why he told us what they were doing and had to flee to safety.

Well, it’s pretty much the left’s fault, Snowden is their very own POS, if they were even slightly sincere, he wouldn’t be an issue, but a bad joke for most of them.

I have to say my take on Snowden is every evolving. At first I was disgusted by what he did, but now I am more disgusted by the intrusive activities of the NSA and the hunt against whislteblowers in general. I still don't agree how Snowden went about it and the fact he sought sanctuary with America's enemies, but maybe I will grow to understand.

Snowden is and will remain on offense. All reports are he has enough dirt on that thumb drive to keep dumping on the US Government for years to come.

I find it hard to believe “it’s just a coincidence” that what Snowden has done supports the premise of Hillary’s “spontaneous” lie with Benghazi.

It’s one of those things I find just too convenient to be “just a coincidence”.

Ever notice with the Boston bombing the first thing people asked was “how did the NSA with all it’s spying, miss it”?

What was the answer, the bombing only had 2 days planning and then they planned “spontaneously” to attack NYC.

Just too convenient to be a coincidence IMO.

...the hunt against whistleblowers in general

I think that's the key right there. Obama promised to value and protect genuine whistleblowers. Obama was very clear about that.

Then he tried to crush anyone who did come forward. What's a genuine whistleblower to do?

Not just lefties. Cheney, Bolton and Michelle Bachmann have condemned him as well. There have been a number of others.

Better yet, lets look at the question the “spontaneous” lie answered.

Before the attempted car bombing in NYC in 2010, the dems talking points were the TEA Party were a bunch of ultra violent, right wing extremist, Tim McVeigh wannabes.

After the attempted bombing the left claimed their talking points were correct because the bomb was a fertilizer bomb just like Tim McVeigh used.

Here’s the question.

Did the dems orchestrate the talking points about the TEA Party for the attack, or did the terrorist pick up on the dems talking points and plan the attack around it?

Here’s the answer you get with the “spontaneous” lie from Benghazi.

The dems didn’t orchestrate the talking points for the attack, the terrorist simply picked up on the dems talking points from the news and “spontaneously’ planned the attack to reflect the dems talking points.

See how convenient it all is.
