Gerald Molen is right on target! Have any of the numerous illegal contributors to, e.g., the Clinton or Obama presidential campaigns - including aliens - ever been prosecuted?

This $ 500,000 bail seems way over the top for an alleged crime such as this, which (at worst) involved far less money than that. For some reason, there is no mention in the article of the name of the judge or magistrate who set that bail.

Excessive bail is prohibited by the Eighth Amendment of the U.S. Constitution, but when the left is in control of the proceedings, that means nothing to them.

What ever happened to Liu’s staff member who bundled campaign contributions illegally? (Liu was a mayoral contender in 2013). I don’t remember any $500,000 bail amount.
