On Friday's "NewsHour" on PBS, New York Times columnist David Brooks downplayed super PAC Priorities USA's decision to align itself with former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton in the 2016 presidential contest and predicted the rise of Gov. Jerry Brown (D-CA) as an outsider in the race.
"Well, they're trying to scare people out of the race," Brooks said. "It's the sound of doom. No, I don't think it's the sound of doom, but I do not think she is going to be coronated out of this. And the fact that some high-flying Washington establishment PAC is helping her is not going to necessarily help her. There is a great outsider hunger here. And I'm looking for an outsider. Gov. Jerry Brown of California, mark my words, he's going to run."

Maybe Brooks believes the Dems are so completely off the rails (which they are) to "foresee rise of Jerry Brown ..........."

No, no, no. You must understand. California is a grand laboratory for the progs. The Golden State is their test kitchen for commie policies. If one of their screwy ideas succeeds in driving this once-great state further into the ditch, then it's an idea ready, in their minds, to be loosed on the rest of the country.

Yup, moonbeam, he's an outsider for sure! Outside the realm of reality that is, everything he touches he ruins. Apparently the majority of Californians that voted to re elect him Governor were to young to remember his first two terms or his term as Secretary of State or as mayor of Oakland or Attorney General. This clown has been sucking at the public teat for his whole life. And now he once again desires to destroy the state with a boondoggle bullet train while trying to tell people that the state is solvent while driving out business and wealth.
