Just wondering, where does all the money go for these fines that are imposed on NFL, NBA, NHL, etc. players? Anyone know? Because someone’s always getting fined, and its usually in the tens of thousands of dollars. That’s gotta add up.

The NFL gives the funds from player fines to various charities.

“All on-field fine money collected by the NFL is used for charitable purposes. These funds have been used to support retired player programs, including the NFL Player Care Foundation and NFLPA Players Assistance Trust; disaster relief initiatives; and health-related charities.”

That was a good question, I didn’t know either. This is from a 2010 NFL communications statement.
