Maybe Ralph Lauren hates ‘Merika like OBummer does.
I’d love to see some of the designers ideas that didn’t get the contract. Also, wonder how much he got for the effort.

Those sweater/jackets, whatever they are are embarrassingly ugly.

Back in the late ‘80s, we flew our C-5 into Madrid, Spain. We were told to change out of our flight suits and into civilian clothes to go from the base to our hotel in the city. So we did and then they packed us into a blue Air Force bus marked as such and away we went. Go figure.

All seriousness aside...wearing those sweaters/jackets could get you a serious beat down for looking like a wuss.

First time I saw that sweater I thought...polo?...seriously...we have polo at the winter games...where are the sweaters for, ski, luge, skate...then I figured it out...please note the thought process happened in nanoseconds. I’m not that dense. :-)

Way back when I was a touring musician, we had a free day in NYC. We were told not to wear our tour jackets, for fear they might be misconstrued as gang symbols.
